mb11@ If you can't change the aspect ratio you can always create the widescreen effect and make it seem all the videos are of the same aspect ratio.

I use adobe after effects and Sony Vegas Pro. I believe Sony Vegas Pro has a 30 day free trial so you can use that.

mb11@ I meant your 2012 video.

Just because there are different aspect rations for trailers doesn't mean you can't manipulate them to have the same or similar ratio. There are techniques to get the results you need. What program do you use?

As for the audio, you can fade it in at the beginning and fade it out at the end. Add a better transition to it. Much can't be done with background sound, but there are light methods that can be used.

I suggest you look at the video "2011: The Cinescape"

The video is not to bad. It was enjoyable.
You should make the aspect ratios for all videos the same. Also, in the talking scenes the audio did not transition well it was as if it was just slapped on there. It would also be better if you found a sort of relation between scenes as though everything meshed together, because most of it seemed to be random scenes trying to match the music. (Same thing for your 2011 video)

@ejk1 The basis is that no sufficient evidence has been presented.
Is this a running tactic you are doing? You make a claim, I ask for proof and since you can't provide it, you just continue making posts while not supporting your claim.

@ejk1 from what I heard people say so, but it means nothing without proof. Egyptian mythology adapt/change there religion over time.

@ejk1 I've seen the research and haven't found the evidence for it. I am looking for the original manuscripts of Osiris that dates back to that time period describing such events. Websites and books is good and all, but the original texts (they never mention) is what I seek so please provide proof.

@ejk1 That is actually false with the Jesus, osiris comparison.

@mb11
You can do this while still having lots to do in your life. Hour a day. No rush.

So you accept only the positivity people give, but reject the negativity even if it's helpful criticism? Talk about being arrogant and close minded.

@mb11

Pretentious? Possibly if so I apologize. But you don't know any of the movie web staff? You sent a simple e-mail asking?

My statements was constructive criticism, but it could of been more detailed.
The videos aspect ratio didn't match with each other and didn't transition well between scenes. Some parts of the volume/songs was off and didn't transition well too.

The continues use of flashing to black screen and than the video didn't work, because it didn't match the song properly. Some scenes also did't match the mood/atmosphere of the song/lyrics.

The quality of this video is average. Certain parts of the sound effects didn't transition well, as well as some parts of the songs. Volume was different too.
The video ratio of some trailers didn't match either.

I've seen great, professional looking vids, but they don't get shown, because Movie Web doesn't know them, but they know Mark Brandon.
Battlestar Galactica is one of the greatest shows ever made. I hope they do this justice.

BSG owns Lost.

When I first read this I was pissed that Gore wasn't going to direct since he is a good director, but then I finally registered in my brain that they guy who directed 28 weeks later is directing this. Which is excellent. I liked the film 28 weeks later, but more specifically I like the directing especially the style of directing. I believe he can actually make the film feel like it was in the game with that type of style he has.
