@junior Roberts actually he was called "the joker" quite a few times in the movie. batman said it at the end "the joker cannot win" and harvey dent and batman both referred to him as the joker in their conversation.

@gina39 i didnt say the joker looked exactly like the comics i said he looked similar to the comics as opposed to the new villains but thank you for agreeing with me i really appreciate it its a breath of fresh air on movieweb boards lol and as for the superman suit i love the actor but not the way he looks in the first official image his hair looks stupid and a little bit greasy and he kind of looks dark and evil more like bizarro than supes i actually thought it was bizarro the first time i saw it lol but i think the actor is perfect though i think he has a superman face when i heard about him playing supes i searched for his pic and when i saw him i was blown away i was like holy sh*t thats superman to me he resembeled the character perfectly i just think they need to come up with a different look for him but the suit looks awesome very rich in color and detail its zack synder so the visuals should be wondrous im not worried about that part

ok now im getting a little iffy about this movie the catwoman suit looks stupid she doesnt look like a cat at all she looks like a regular criminal i know this is probably not the final suit but still im starting to waver a little bit especially after seeing bane he's smaller than batman and not that built and his body size is his main identification in the comics i know nolan changes the looks but he cant change them this far where it becomes ridiculously distracting heaths joker looked similar like the comics but these villains so far look almost 180 degrees different from the comic counterparts i understand story is the most important thing but if the characters look this different then it will distract audiences and make them go "wtf" no matter the story so for the sake of his movie i seriously hope nolans f*cking with us and these pics are prototypes

WHAT THE F*CK R U TALKING ABOUT!!! youve seriously never heard of the term 'action star'. what the f*ck is wrong with you, do you know anything at all (and then u tell me not to insult ur intelligence hahaha)it has nothing to do with who is a real actor. theres no such term dumbass. its about category yes its all acting but different actors have their own specialty, there are comedians like will ferrell, jim carrey, adam sandler, there are tv actors who mostly do television work, method actors, soap opera actors, broadway & theatre actors and then there are ACTION STARS DUMBASS!!!! guys like stallone bruce willis vin diesel and, um, JASON STATHAM among others. theres all kinds of different actors and categories and yes there are general actors who do everything but a lot of them dont. a lot of them work or get typecasted in a certain category (like scream queens in horror movies, for example) and forgive me but you have shown me a new level of stupidity in film if u didnt know about any of the types of actors i have mentioned. btw your response to me was very rude and i dont appreciate it (thats y i was a little rude myself). theres no reason to treat people that way, some manners u have dickweed

@theDude_Abides excuse me but why on earth would you judge a movie that you havent even seen yet or so much as seen a trailer for or any advertising for the movie in general. that tells me something about your i.q. that you just want something to bash and that really isnt fair. the cast seems great and it looks like they got a well enough story so it might actually turn out good. they said theyre gonna make it a continuation of the original and try to make it scary and suspensful like the orignal instead of just piling on gore and you should give them some credit for that. granted it might not be as good as its predecessors but the point is you cant judge something until you see it and doing so makes you look like an *sshole.

@redrum jason statham is not an actor he is an ACTION STAR. theres a big difference. i dont know where you got that from that he is an actor. nobody ever said he was people always referred to him as an action star just like all those other guys like vin diesel, stallone, jet li ect. they are all action stars so it pisses me off when people speak of them as actors. remember there are ACTORS and then there are STARS. learn the difference between the two before you speak please.

@photoman um excuse me but r u seriously calling chris columbus an average director, SERIOUSLY. he made the first two harry potter movies and kickstarted the highest grossing movie franchise of ALL TIME. if thats an average director then, sh*t, im sure every movie studio would KILL to have an average director make a movie for them. i didnt know there was anything on this earth that could make you THAT high to say something like that. you may have found the gold mine of narcotics, my friend. you could make a fortune in hollywood selling that sh*t to celebs. get at it, boy.

@theDude_Abides x-men is a character piece in a way. true, it doesnt focus on a central character as in raging bull or taxi driver but there is still a lot of character development for the main ones, especially professor x and magneto. their relationship is the central one of the xmen universe and the movies handled that well.

@moviegeek ur kidding me rright now right? nothing we havent seen? whens the last time u saw a movie like "cowboys and aliens" or even heard of such a premise. this is probably one of the most original, albiet silly ideas ever.

i would definitely pick antoine fuqua. he definitely knows how to make gritty films which is what wolverine needs above all else, GRIT!!!! and he has an amazing eye for detail. justin lin would be good too because hes great at action but between them i would probably pick fuqua because from what ive heard this wolverine is supposed to be much darker and more serious and nearly all of fuquas films have been dark and serious so i think he would be much better for the tone of the film, BUT, justin lin is F*CKING CRAZY at doing action which is also what wolverines gonna be about. so i guess they would both suit the movie well but if it was me i would probably go with fuqua. even though it wont happen it would be crazy if they got BOTH directors to do it together, one supplies the grit and the other supplies the action. now THAT would be some f*cking crazy sh*t. that would be the most perfect team to handle wolverine.

and x-men is a character piece. xmen is actually one of the few comic books where characters and social commentary are at the forefront. unlike other comics xmen has always been characcter driven ABOVE ALL ELSE, the action came second. thats what made it unique, the fact that it focused on prejudice and discrimination and the films captured that perfectly. so im glad that they focused on that in this film as well. it wouldnt be xmen if it was not character driven.

@theDude_Abides avatar was the most anticipated film in the beginning when people first heard about it. it was the most talked about film because it was james camerons first film after titanic, thats why it was hyped so much. but later on, in the middle of the marketing, when the teaser came out opinions flipped-flopped. people started complaining about the effects shown in the teaser, that they looked like sh*t and thats when the talk started changing. people became divided. half of them still had hope because it was james cameron and the other half became pessimistic based on the trailer and stated that it would suck and that james cameron wouldnt deliver. its anticipation became its own poison because so many expectations were riding on it. thats probably what vaugn was referring to, the attitude towards the movie in the middle-to-end of its marketing run.

at the real lex first off i dont know what posters you saw but if you honestly think these posters are a cheap photoshop project i SERIOUSLY recommend you get your eyes checked.these are the some of the most epic, realistic-looking, badass, darkest, and visually wonderful posters ive ever seen, they are the farthest thing from a photoshop job. and second i think henry cavill is near perfect casting. he definitely has the superman look to him. again, get glasses.
