I'm a little late to this game, but I'll second "The Terror." It was a little long-winded in parts, but overall it was interesting and an effective page-turner much of the time.

It seems to be based on a real parasite...minus the human infection, death, and zombification.

Hit enter too early...and Thomas Jane. I'm not sure he has the extensive action pedigree the others do, but they did let Hemsworth in.

I've been thinking that Wesley Snipes needs to be in these movies. Russell seems like an appropriate fit. How about Michael Biehn?

@thedude1 She is not unattractive, but she's not approaching my definition of beautiful in any way nor do I think she's anywhere near "classically" beautiful. There is also no way you're going to convince me that anyone thinks she is the "fairest of them all" in a land that includes Charlize Theron. Throw in the fact that she's played essentially the same character in every movie I've seen her in and she really does nothing for me.

I'm really hoping Ant-Man and an animated Guardians of the Galaxy aren't going to preclude Marvel from making The Black Panther.

@ridgl I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. He set out to make a movie and he seems pretty determined to stick with it...

@Dark-White-Knight...I imagine it's all of the millions of hot and bothered ladies that left the theaters with drool rolling down their chins.

I loved me some Benji when I was a kid (I'm 28). It does make me feel a little old that you guys haven't even heard of it.

wrote a comment about the news item Peter Jackson Responds to Criticism Towards The Hobbit and 48 FPS Projection
@thedude-abides Of all those directors I would expect Quentin to be the least likely to go against his word. He is obviously in love with old-school film-making. He's nostalgic.
I don't have a clue how this whole debate is going to play out. I don't even own an HD-TV and don't know that I've ever watched an HD-movie...certainly never blu-ray. However, I also don't know that I'm going to take Spielberg or Tarantino's words over Jackson's and Cameron's...or vice versa. The latter two are pushing boundaries. They're trying something new. I think at minimum that's something to be respected. It just so happens that Jackson is doing it with something we're all looking forward to. The worst that can happen is we get a few failed experiments, we're disappointed, and 24fps lives on or maybe it turns out that the finished products are huge successes and 24fps becomes a thing of the past. |

@shuabert I had that exact experience with The Two Towers. It was irritating.
I usually only enjoy outbursts of emotion in theaters during comedies. In more serious films, where dialogue really matters, I get irritated when people clap or yell and then I miss something that might (or might not) have been important. |

@ghostman It's always good to meet a fellow reader.
I'm hoping for Carol to make an exit. She's far less irritating in the comic than in the show. Moreover, her attempts to turn Daryl against Rick really got under my skin. I want Daryl to feel like he's a productive member of the group. I don't want them to turn him into Shane part-two. |

And I'll go ahead and throw a vote in for Clive Owen as Bond with Fassbender as villain. Nolan can direct if he wants.

@daveactor7...did I mention I'd probably have to keep an IV for fluids and a vomit bucket nearby? I've never seen it, but I don't like scatological themes. I've also never seen a million dollars, but something tells me I'd like it.
