Why would John Rhys Davies play Gimli in The Hobbit? That character isn't even in the book. The character of his father Gloin is. Why is this news? Some people are just idiots.

what the hell happened to sean patrick flanery's face? it's like his eyes have completely sunken into his face. i know he hasn't been around in a while, but he looks really different.

Finally, an honest review of this movie by someone who hasn't been drinking the "Tarantino Kool-Aid". This movie truly should have been so much better than it was.

I love the original and it is a classic, but i think Spielberg might be able to pull this off.

I actually played Elwood P Dowd in high school and as long as they stay close to the original play, it just might work.

Why is this even a story? His character dies at the end of the movie, of course he's not going to come back. That would be dumb. Is there seriously no other news coming out of hollywood that you're going to waste out time with this?

Why do they keep adding all this useless crap onto dvds these days? All i want is the movie, a commentary track, the trailers, and some cool making-of documentaries. That's all. I don't give a shit about getting live updates from NASA or "augmented reality" packaging. Who comes up with this crap? What a complete waste. And it's because of all this shit that we have to wait so long for a f**king dvd release!

And Blu-Ray is still the dumbest format since 8-track tapes.

Hopefully this will the first ever good movie based off a video game in history. I'm crossing my fingers.

yeah spynet i honestly really hated "Order of the Phoenix", mostly because it was very porrly written (also the direction wasn't all that great and the editing was terrible). The thing that really irked me about it was that the movie doesn't explain anything. when I watched i kept asking a million questions. "what weapon is he looking for?" "is it the prophecy?" "how is he going to use that as a weapon?" and the most important question in any movie "what's going to happen if the hero fails?"

Now if you've read the book you know the answers to all those questions but they didn't even try to put it into the movie. It would have taken 30 seconds out of a 2 and a half hour film to explain these things, but instead it makes no sense and movie becomes just "events" and no "story".

I also didn't really like "Chamber of Secrets" but at least that movie has a story and plot that flows nicely, and "Order of the Phoenix" did not.

I didn't get to see this one when I was at the Sundance Film Festival, but I heard it was really good.
