This films proposed cast (hope everyone is confirmed soon) is pretty f*cking ace. Despite my reservations, I know I'm going to see this film in theaters, so I just hope the script and directing works to the benefit of all.

This is by far one of the dumbest things they could do - taking testosterone over talent; physicality over performance. I thought James Gunn, Kevin Fiege, and whomever has a say in these decisions would be smarter than this. If this casting rumor proves true, that's obviously not the case, and my faith in this GotG adaption will falter severely.

I thought this was released ages ago, seeing as my local asian rental place has a copy of this film.
Everyone looks worn down, exhausted and even f*cked up at points (looking at DeHaan and Liotta), which I guess is what they were going for. Lol. I'm really looking forward to this film.

@comicbookfan Agreed 100%.
Agreed, @phatalphd. The Prestige is my favorite film from Nolan. :P

@c-a-r-t-m-a-n Let's see here. The Following, Memento, Insomnia, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises all had standard open-and-close endings that don't leave any room for "interpretation" in the sense that it affected the film experience. Just because Inception's ending was left to the viewer, a stroke of genius, you think Nolan doesn't have the courage to end a film "properly"? Get real.
@thedude-abides Agreed.

@mieko-siede Well said. Out of curiosity, which was the better asteroid film to you?
I'm insanely pumped for this film. I'm predicting a small cast due to the clipped shooting time and the subject matter of space travel, something I'm understandably excited to see Nolan tackle. The only question is whether he'll give us a 2001: Space Odyssey type film, or a Pandorum type film, but I wouldn't be surprised if he finds an interesting balance.
