Letters was superior IMO. And MDB was good, but I found it unnecessarily depressing. Great film none-the-less.

MDB, now that movie I can't give enough praise to. The Fighter is *almost* at its level, but not quite. Swank and Eastwood were a killer pair up in that movie.

Actually, I think Million Dollar Baby is going to take votes as Eastwood's best. He did win an Oscar for that. And don't forget Letters From Iwo Jima.

Lol @ejk. You complemented RotK, so I give you slack on Mystic river I liked it I just didn't find it unbearably good. I just feel that most folk would assume that Eastwood's greatest directional works would be Unforgiven and Mystic River, but I found Torino a lot more relate-able and closer to home. All three films had great endings, but Torino just hit me on all the right notes.
@Supes, I've only seen the first season. Been busy, and never got around to viewing Season 2, although I've had the opportunity to. I'll need to do that soon.

I don't think Mystic River is overrated. It was probably the second best film of 2003, and it accordingly lost to the best--LOTR: Return of the King. Seems to be rated just about right to me.

Lol @Supes. Yeah, she's great in True Blood. Of course I watch it! Lol. The reason I put a question mark is I haven't seen her in anything else save for X-Men so I was shaky on her. And yes! Although good, Mystic River was over-rated.
