A list of what I felt were this past decade's most influencing films on myself, not universally. There's obviously Gold(best), Silver(Runner Up), Bronze(close third), and of course the guilty pleasures that need to be on the list for some reason or another. Also, a few years are so great that films are tied for positions and listed in the comment section.

@bawnian-dexeus LMAO!
@narrator With a few exceptions, I rather like this list. However, I think it would be better served to have the films from 2010 kicking off a new list for the most influential films of the current decade.

Whoo! I finally completed this list. It's weird looking back at the major releases that most affected me in the past decade. I don't mean to mass tag (I actually do), but how do you guys feel about the films of the past ten years in general.

@zanyzap, agreed. Taub and Pena do stand up jobs in the film, bit felt that the film accomplished little by the time the credits rolled.

@narrator: The scene with Michael Pena and Shaun Toub always gets to me. But I was glad when Sandra Bullock fell down the stairs. I think I even clapped.

Checking it out, right now @zanyzap. And yeah, both years were very good. Crash was one of the films that was well done, but had no moral meaning too it, other than, "the world is racist and harsh, especially Los Angeles). Lol. To me anyways.
And thanks for the comment on the Avatar. The feelings mutual.

I love the new avatar too.

@narrator: I updated my list... finally. The only surprise is Crash, which I recently re-watched. 2005 was such a difficult year, as was 2006.

Lol, thanks @zanyzap. I look forward to seeing your re-done list. And what was wrong with Watchmen? It's pacing? I know some people seem to have a problem with that aspect of it. And I'm glad you enjoyed Rock 'N Rolla. A definite guilty pleasure.

@narrator: I may need to update my list... I've seen a few great movies recently that I somehow missed for both the theatrical release and the dvd release. I still need to see Pandorum; other than that, I agree with every film on the list... except maybe Watchmen. :P
And I reread the past comments and this will be a year late, but what the hell... Rock N Rolla was great!

@thedude-abides, thanks, man. I actually asked @zanyzap if I could borrow his idea. all I added was my own guilty pleasure segment. Lol.
And thanks for the heads up, man. I'll be sure to change it.

Awesome list, @narrator. Love how u broke each year down by designating the top 3 films with either a gold, silver, or bronze.
I hope this doesn't mess up your list, but I think Eternal Sunshine is 2004. U have it tied for silver with Michael Clayton in '07.

Haha. Lol Twisted I am glad you liked Disturbia. for some eason it was just completely suiting to me. And sorry about your place. Small town? You will be out of there soon enough I'm sure. ;)
And Zany. Not sure about the deleted comment. What'd it say? Oh, and thanks for the compliment. Sorry if I borrowed your idea. I just thought it was pretty cool. Make sure you tell me what ya thought of the film. :)

I like the "guilty pleasure" addition. Classy. I rented Rock N Rolla and Kiss, Bang Bang (WiseGuy's idea), but have yet to watch them. Excited, though.
And, I think another comment I wrote earlier was deleted. It wasn't important, but still. Hm...

I agree with you guys about Disturbia. That was a great film. I loved every minute of it. Yeah, I saw that you gave Surf's Up the axe LOL! I also noticed you put the Hurt Locker on your list. I really wanted to see that, but where I live once again gave me another reason to hate it. The Hurt Locker never played here.

Thanks guys. I am sorry to say but I edited some of them and "borrowed" you idea Zany. However thanks for the back up on the Disturbia flick. And check out Rock N Rolla. I think you might like it.
Twisted, I agree. I wish Surfs Up made the final revision. But still my favorite animated film it is.
And thanks Cripple.

Great list man. LOL! I like how you have Surf's Up on here. That is a damn good animated movie. The doc*mentary style is great

Excellent list and taste in movies. I agree, own, and love almost every film listed. I say, props.
There's nothing wrong with adding Disturbia to your list. It's a great movie and truthful to your comment. I, unlike you, have no guilt for finding pleasure in a teen }horror" flick. Not in my DNA. ;)
I have yet to see RockNRolla. Obviously, it's good if it made the cut. I'll check it out. In the meantime, take a peek at my list, and tell me what you think.
