Ok guys, I have been reading all your posts about The New Vers Old, Meny of you love the old like i do it is a horror classic, but i also agree with the lot of you who loved the new version, JC when he wrote the book on the Halloween Killings he wanted a big Psycho who was all about the blood and body count and had a thing for teenage babysitters, those who loved the old know there are places where JC did not explain Michael's life before he was 20, the second still nothing about his life just more blood and more bodies. the 3rd nothing to do with Mike at all so when you are talking about the movies do not bring 2 and 3 and 4 and so on into it for they have no bareing on the new one. I stated eariler in my post that the movie was ok. People this was not a remake the New Halloween was showing what JC did not the life of Mike before 20, the start of a Psycho. as to those who ask how did he go from a puggy little Psycho to the muscle bound Freak that was in the Mental Ward, im sorry but if you go to jail skinny and helpless you come out pumped and huge, Mike had 15 years in a cell 15 years of push up's and crunches and benching your bed would make anyone Muscle bound. and as to how he knew where to go after he left, he may have been a crazy Psycho but his memory of his hometown was still in there, I have moved so much in my life but i remember where i was born and raised and what my old street addy was and i was 6. Rob did a great job on this movie this was not ment to be a retelling of the old stroy this was a telling of Mikes story from his side not anyone elses. yes it was chopped between the old and new to the second Halloween, but then again you cant make a movie called Halloween without some of the old and rob did that. The ending was less then what i was expecting but then again most Horror movies are. I did not hate it but then again i did not love it, it was a great try at bring the face of horror into 2007, because i don't know about you guys but out of all the Psychos in movies when i was growing up Freddy, Jason, Leather Face. Michael was the only one that could happen and be true and thats what scares us not blood or gore just knowing your next door neighbor could be killing off the local Babysitters now thats what horror is all about. Rob you did a great job and i hope to see more of Michael in another Hallowen movie.

Hey guys, Ok this is going to be quick. I am a huge fan of the Halloween Movies I own all of them plus all the movie posters and one of the First masks Worn in the First film. I waited a year to see the Rob Zombie Version and let me tell you in 109 minutes the first 45 minutes my date fell asleep cause it was moving so slow, the rest of the movie was ok but this was not a remake it was a bad try at bring Michael into 2007. It had nothing to do with the series it was like a twisted comedy. I love Rob Zombies Films hell i love Rob himself he was born in my home state His Wife was great in this movie and she was the reason i kept watching but dont waste the $8 to see it wait for the DVD and rent it before you buy it. I hope this helps you guys a little. oh and the ending was well i must say not the best but it worked i guess. hope this helps you guys out, more to come from me on other movies, take care you guys and happy Halloween
