I know it's dumb to pass judgement before seeing a film, but Django Unchained is not looking good to me. I liked Pulp Fiction and think Tarantino can do great things, but Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds and that driving one have taken their toll. They've all just been parodies of genre movies, intriguing scenes spoiled by pop culture gags and self indulgence, and Django Unchained sounds like it's going to be the same. I hope Tarantino is actually trying to make a real Western and not a joke Western.

Rob Zombies Halloween is one of the very few horror remakes that is actually worse than the sh*t Platinum Dunes put out, so judging by that I guess this is an improvement? No, this is still just pissing on a classic horror film.
