@artkid04 he played the villain in Gladiator.
The guy would also make a killer Joker.

And this looks unlike any of DreamWorks precious efforts. Judging by the trailer, the scope of it all looks magnificent and the tone is completely different than the first film. I love it. Hopefully the comedy is still there from the first film because there wasn't too much of that in the trailer.

I am most excited for John Powell's score. His score for the first film is stilled one of my most played albums on my iPod. It was mesmerizing and it definitely should have one the Oscar for best score back in 2011.
The one thing I find funny about this film is the fact that it started out as a sequel to Man of Steel yet now, the last person people talk about regarding this film is Superman himself. There are times when I forget that this is actually a sequel.

@gumperman and Mark Ruffalo. The idea of them three spitting Joss Whedon written dialogue just fills me with amazement.

Good. Goyer's writing f*cking blows. This has really peaked my interest.
Looks hilarious! Hopefully its a hit because Efron needs it.

It's odd that he was never given an Oscar for his work. R.I.P
I like James Horner's theme better.
@therealGoku : Sure, maybe it has insurance (although insurance companies can choose to not cover actors who die outside of the film shoot) but do you honestly think that Walker would have wanted this film to be scrapped? It was his last movie and he has put so much blood and sweat into not only this upcoming movie, but also this franchise (he was producer). To just scrap his hard work would be disrespectful and a waste to his hard work, talents, and stunt work.
Still think that they are going the wrong way with this franchise. While Salvation was a piece of sh*t, I liked the war angle and it is possible to make that work on film, if done right. They should add more human conflict so it isn't all humans and machines. They should look at the effects of the apocolypse on the human race (without rules and regulations, the people could turn animalistic. That could be very interesting to see on film). Finally make a film where John Connor is the protagonist. Show the pressure he is under to be the human races saviour. They should look at what it means to be not only a leader but also a symbol of hope. Hell, to make it more interesting, add also a foil character for John Connor amongst the machines as well. That could be a true test of John's leadership and it could lead to so much rich character development. This idea that they have now just seems like Terminator 1-3 all over again. Its getting tedious.
As long as its respectful than they should do whatever. What sh*tty circ*mstances.
@therealGoku You honestly think scrapping it is a good idea? Paul put a lot of energy into making these movies. If anything, he would want people to see the film. Plus, you are overlooking the fact that this is a business. You can't just throw away a multi million dollar project because a cast member passed. If an employee from any other business passed away, would you expect the business to just shut down? It doesn't make sense.
