MUCH better than the first, but still not perfect. Rest easy Joe fans, the franchise is very much on the right track. The film only scrambles when cleaning up the mess left by ROC.

Agreed on Kunis, but not on Raimi. I thought his direction was the best thing about the movie, not to mention all of his trademarks are there. Franco, I thought was fine, but I understand the mixed reception for him. As for the visuals, I'm pretty sure that's an artistic choice used to pay tribute to the fake painted backgrounds of the original.
