only other thing i wanna say is how cool it is that heath finally really breaks out in a role like this...he was a reluctant star after a knight's tale and then chose difficult roles and was villified by disgusting bigoted so called "christian" right...christian wrong...for Brokeback Mountain, and now he breaks out in a mass media/Pop way as this version of the Joker, making people really think...

i was sad counting every screen appearance of heath and knowing when it was over he was gone. again, if they replace his joker w another actor they are fools but i have faith nolan will do the right thing...he sure has so far by this fan

heath so nailed the pathos of the joker and themes that have been built up over decades in the comics and developed by creators over the years...and how great to see it brought to life, finally! even his crazy speeches and alternate "how i got my scars" stories and that his minions were all schizophrenics was awesome and realistic/manipulative...it was terrific...and Bruce Wayne's concerns/torn nature and then how it all resolves in the end w the thematic resolution of the chsen paths of joker, dent and batman was so succinct and great.
Some people just think of joker as a cool bad guy adn not that he has always been more a manifestation Batman's own worst fears about his role as a hero reflected back at him as a nightmare embodied by the Joker

it would be lamer than anything if they recast the joker, even lamer than making john constantine Keanu Reevs instead of British! that is still the most disrespectful thing done to comic fans in a movie, worse than Batman and Robin. They should say the Joker is loked away in Arkham and just briefly show his hand and overhear laughing from a cell and respectfully move on to a new villain...It is one thing to replace katie Holmes w a better actress and another to replace heath, idiots...and don't use bane or clayface because they are corny and unrealistic adn this trilogy is supposed to be more serious/reality based. They shouldn't do catwoman either...or robin...all played out ...i don't wanna see a new penguin either...I think they should maybe do the riddler but he doesn't seem threatening enough...Bane was so retarded in the other movie he was in...steroid BS...why don't they get Jose Canseco to play Bane...jesus...phssst...Bane started out kind of complex but looks too corny, like a pro wrestler...he is no joker replacement...maybe they should have the Riddler and the angry public who think Batman is a killer now and someone like Talia wanting revenge and she would bring it full circle back to batman begins.
