I totally agree. aesthetically this is a wonderful movie. The characters, the environment, everything about this movie clicked together. The one thing I complain about is, that as stated, only Sci-Fi fans will truly appreciate. Combine "Enemy Mine" and "The Run Down" you will end up with this film.
I personally loved it. Among the best of Sci-Fi films made ever... Of Course... My one complaint, It seemed like I was watching a new Roger Coreman film. It is obviously low budget, and some times there seems to be a Coreman bow during the film. Maybe it was intensional, I am unsure, it is there, and I love it. Overall I give it a 4 out of 5. It is not for everyone. It is a Sci-Fi fan film. And I think it was meant to be. Collera has again dominated the screen, Unfortunately he is again not given the rights to a big film, but he made a small film BIG!!! Lance... |

wrote a comment about the person Peter Berg
Peter could be one of the best in the new-world directors. I believe he has a style that people love to see, and his vision during filming translates to the big screen almost flawlessly.
From comedy to adventure, and drama, Peter has been sharpening his teeth, which were already extremely sharp to begin. The future of Peter is looking good. Battleship will be a challenge for anyone, Yet I think Peter has an idea in place and has the ability to create a great action-drama out of it. Lets hope, however, this wont be the first Peter Berg speed bump in film making. |

wrote a comment about the news item BOOS! & WHOOP-DOOS!: Why Is Pegasus Black? and Other Remake Mysteries!
First of all: I agree with much of his thoughts...
That said, I dis agree with many of his thoughts, and his listing below is full of false leading information. many of the films listed in the by year category are not the definition of re-make, as they were never made into films before. A re-make if a retelling of a film that has been made and updated. Films such as Josie and the P*ssycats, are an adaptation film. Based on another format of story telling, Cartoons. If he is going to include that film, and many others, he may as well include any film based on a book. This is one of the reasons I hate critics, which if he is or is not, is what he is doing. They constantly try to make themselves feel better by trying to sell their beliefs on the public, expanding their already overinflated ego's. This is one of the most long winded ego's I have had the displeasure to read. Sure maybe the film did stink, yet on many levels it was good. Why not explain all sides to a film, good and bad, and let the public decide what they want to do with the information, rather than try to get the entire reading population turned to your poor excuse for a extended tantrum? That said, my tantrum is finished... |
