I was watching a training video about how this almost state of psychosis can occur in such a format. It's the same thing that happens to sports fans or gamers watching a monitor obviously, all it is, is a device that emits light images. The spectator is still in the same room they walked into nothing physically has changed. If the power goes out they get jerked back to reality. If something as unrealistic as this is upsetting, reprogram yourself or get help.
