So, you're basically saying that good movies aren't always associated with high box office numbers. I can agree with that.
Honestly it's sad when a movie like twilight is so successful, when Precious, a much more deserving film, doesn't get half the attention it deserves. |

you know what they could do, they could do an entirely new setting. New house, new people being haunted. completely unrelated to the original but following the same concept with new ideas.
I say they should include a trained dog for the film. I always found it creepy when a pet in the house would stop and react to something that isn't there. Like growling into a dark hallway or whimpering out of fear. |

wrote a comment about the news item Keanu Reeves Says Cowboy Bebop Is Getting a Rewrite
Considering that Spike Spiegel's fighting style is inspired by the late Bruce Lee and his appearance is modeled after the late Yusaku Matsuda, Keanu Reeves seems unfit to take on such a character.
Of course, im not implying that it should be an asian actor, but that Keanu simply could not perform this role to it's fullest potential. His fighting is slightly above average at best and his acting isn't all that great either. And it's also worth noting that his voice couldn't even live up to Steven Blum's vocal performance. I just cannot imagine Keanu's voice as Spike. In fact, I don't even want to. |

@chad vital
Could you clarify something for me? gordon was the one who sawed off his leg in the original correct? Terribly sorry if im wrong, but at the end of the 2nd film, did wahlberg's character come across the corpse of gordon in the hallway leading to the bathroom? Or was that Glover's character? I could be wrong of course, i haven't seen that movie in ages(my memories fuzzy) and i really don't wanna bother watching it again. |

Chun li's past has always been explained through the videogames, anyone who's been avidly following the franchise already knows about her father and gen being her master.
Also, how could you not know chun li throws fireballs? YOu hold back then foward punch. Have you ever played street fighter? Besides, i don't think you ever watched this film, it's worse than the original sf movie, at least that one had the characters' costumes, fucking Bison wears a business suit!? And balrog shooting a gun... need i say more? |

I wasn't much of a clock tower fan back in the ps1 days, but i played it for a bit and really enjoyed the scares with scissorman chasing you around.
My only qualm with this film is that scissorman doesn't carry the signature giant scissors. They're big i'll give em that, but not freakishly, unrealistic big. here's a link of the ps1 cover to understand what i mean http://pics.livejournal.com/gl_towers/pic/0002zwzs/s320x240 |

the character was pretty funny in tropic thunder, but mostly because there was alot of the shock factor running behind it. Cruise has been called crazy in the headlines alot, so seeing him kinda make fun of his own antics was fairly surprising.
It's like when they had Cruise play as austin powers in gold member. It was a nice special guest appearance, nothing more than that. I honestly dont see this character as being able to hold up a feature-length film. The surprising fun factor has worn off. If i saw tom cruise rapping and dancing again, i wouldn't even show as much of a smirk. |

I've never had high standards to begin with, but this film definitely meets my expectations.
It even has the similar exaggerated effects stephen chow is known for, so no surprise there |

@system9191
I agree that this movie doesn't look too great--at the moment, but i still have high hopes for it, since stephen chow is overseeing the project as producer. I absolutely love his films, especially shaolin soccer. So maybe some of that charm will rub off onto the film and its director James Wong. And btw, wth are you talking about? Mortal Kombat being bad? That was actually the only decent videogame movie ever made, it was the sequel that was horrible. |

@THE JOKER
Eriko Tamura is not the one wearing the white gown, that's Jamie Chung from "The Real World" (yes that horrible mtv show) Tamura is the one in the last pic, wearing a maroon colored suit. |
