I went to the movie theater, choosen Avatar just by chance (I liked the name), knew nothing about it before (what about "highly advertised"!?) They were playing Up In the Air, The Blind Side, and It'S Complicated at the same time. Loved Avatar the first time I saw it, went for more times. By the way, they are playing now The Book of Eli, Edge of Darkness, Legion, and so on. You should know this if you guys live in the U.S. still, Avatar had no competition. It made all that $ because it's a worldwide event, not only an U.S. only. Now, everybody goes out to see Avatar, check the web and the movie official sites if you don't believe.

The first time I watched it, three weeks ago, it wa a revelation. Since then, I went to our local movie theater and watch it every week . I am a SciFi fan, I've watched probably the best movies/shows of the genre, and I can say that Avatar is from far the best. They created a whole alien world here, an working ecosistem that is bioluminiscent, amazing creatures to populate that world, and so on. Cameron still alows space for one's imagination to work around, so if you are bit familiar with the SciFi themes, you can take the subject farther on your own. A genetically connected world, a planetary consciousness, human and alien DNAmixed together?! That' what Cameron proposes to the public. It's more than amazing, I believe it's beyond everything that human mind has created before
