Hey Marcusx, how are you gonna make fun of someone else's pic? Your second favorite movie is Boondock Saints? What's your favorite, Brokeback Mountain? At least Chad and Vampire have some interesting things to say so I can at least let Vampire go for feeling justified calling me a moron. You are just a punk with no good ideas of his own. Wish I had a dollar for every fan boy on this website with that same pic. I would send you all the money so you could pay to download something original for a pic. "Someone Loves Men"? Yea you

Wow Chad, you really don't know anything about the Matrix do you. Neo being dead has nothing to do with the "ONE". If you had watched the same movies that I did, you would have heard the "Architect" say that the "one" is a mathematical anamoly that attaches itself to a person. Hence the new "one" changing the sunset in the final scene to say thank you to Neo for saving them. Also if you had watched the Animatrix, they have already shown us what took place during the war with the machines. Terminator plot? The Matrix trilogy cannot even be compared to the likes of Terminator (which I love by the way). The Matrix has a plot much deeper than anything James Cameron's small little brain could muster. The remake of Chainsaw was not good. It destroyed everything that was good about the original. Just because you remake a horror movie and make it gruesome does not mean it's good. No one bitches about the Boondock Saints sequel because no one watched it. You don't blame them? Cash cows? My friend, people like you are the reason this horrible crap gets made. you would rather watch a remake and then slam the original for being graphically inept. WOW! Maybe that's because some of them were made 30 years ago. Hoolywood does need new things. So does the video game industry. So does the music industry. How many bands on the radio sound just like the five bands you just heard? My point exactly. Jason IS cool, I agree, but stop "remaking" shit. Stop labeling your movie just to make money. The first Chainsaw was made by a bunch of film students who could never in thier wildest dreams have thought that it would have been as big as it has become. We need more pioneers. Not some jerkoff trying to make money off of someone elses idea. You deserve more and so do I. Jason will never be as cool as Leatherface (who by the way is molded after a real serial killer named ED Gein).

Hey Nyfresh, at the end when they are on the train or ferris wheel (whatever). When the camera pans out to the ocean there is a boat in the upper right hand corner. The "Thing" splashes pretty close to the boat. Trust me it's there. I had to slow it down to actually seet it good. It also took me a couple of times to see it. I have actually had to point it out to people. It is really hard to notice if you do not know where to look. Try slowing it down, seems to help because of the grainy stuff going on in the movie. Let me know if you see it. Hope this helps

Well said artist13. You either love it or you hate it. I think that maybe why he didn't build on those characters is because it's about Michael this time. Not the kids. The best thing about the original is Michael is just flat out a creepy frickin' guy. He's everywhere. I find him frightening in the remake because he is just a violent brutal son-of-a-b@#$&! He killed everyone he got his hands on. Not just stabbing them but physically overpowering them. He was unstoppable. Yea, I agree with the rounds from a .357 should have ended anyones killing spree. But then again, it is a movie. When I watch Freddy vs. Jason,(yes I watch Freddy vs. Jason) I think that it is one of the best Jasons ever because he is so violent and brutal. That is what I picture a mass murderer to be. That is why I like the remake so much. Michael is just raw power and hatred. Yea we can argue which one is better all day. You know what, when it comes out on DVD, thats just one more time I get to watch Michael slice and dice and hack and slash during my Halloween movie marathon. Michael Meyers is the king of slashers and no matter how many movies they make I will watch them.

this is to Brain and Wyverex. I don't remember the acting being bad in the Excorcist. The acting really wasn't bad in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The acting wasn't bad in the Fog. The acting wasn't bad in the Changeling. Don't tell me that's the way it was back in the 70's guy. All those movies are better horror movies than Halloween. Have you ever even watched a 70's horror movie? For you to say that horror wasn't mainstream, really makes me doubt it. He didn't get much money because he only had two major productions under his belt. Dark Star and Assault on Precinct 13. Everything before that was less than a B movie. Actually if I remember correctly, didn't Universal do a whole giant slew of horror movies from the early 20's all the way to the late 50's? Not mainstream? Horror has been around since the invention of cinema. How many silent horror movies are there? Maybe you shouldn't watch horror movies guy, at least until you know what you are talking about.

You all make the original sound like some great cinematic achievement. There are so many holes in that movie it is really quite ridiculous. How about the fact that he can drive after spending the entirety of his adult life in an institution. I honestly don't think that anyone that values thier life would take a viscious psychopath out on Sundays and teach him how to drive. Do you think that Laurie and Annie would recognize the station wagon that had been stalking them all day was less than a car length behind them when there are no other cars on the road. Do you think Dr. Loomis would spot a car a little more quickly when it is only right down the street a little sooner. Considering he was standing in the same spot for more than an hour. When does it ever mention the reason that he is stalking Laurie? Why? Because she dropped keys off at his old house!? I think you all need to go back and watch the original before you start complaining about a remake that answers more questions thatn the original.

How anyone can be a Halloween movie fan and not like this movie is beyond me. I have already seen it twice and I liked it better the second time. I do not like Rob's other movies AT ALL! What he did with Halloween is awesome. I have grown up watching all kinds of horror movies. The Halloween series is one of the best, and Rob Zombie has done it justice. To Truvision82, I think you have to compare the two, it is a remake. The original did have a few scenes that I wish were in the remake. Mainly just those creepy visions that John Carpenter did so well. I loved the remake.

I also agree with the language being a tad much. However, I must have watched a different movie than some of you. The younger days of Micheal in the movie were great. Better having a true psychopath than having him be a product of some cult that worships Thorn(Halloween 5&6). This movie also explains a few things that the other movie didn't. For example, do you really think that someone in a mental hospital is going to teach a mass murderer how to drive? I like the idea of Rob not showing him escape in a car. I also like the mask idea. That it has always been a thing for him. Don't get me wrong, the original Halloween is one of my favorite all time horror movies. I guess I was just very pleased that someone actually remade something and didn't send it straight down the toilet. Not naming any movies(THE FOG!!!). But then again, maybe my blind love for the Halloween series has blinded me. All I know is, in this new movie, as soon as he dons the "Shape", it goes straight into the Halloween of old. With a much more violent and brutal Michael. Two thumbs up
