ok this is gonna be more comic genius from kevin smith. and please don't hate because he has a career that has been most influential especially when he's basically created his own genre and has influenced critics positively when other semi-smart comedies are quoted as trying to be a "kevin smith" film. and c'mon movie buffs does know one else see the obvious respectful reference to George A. Romero??? the jersey! MONROEVILLE ZOMBIES!!! as in MONROEVILLE MALL!!!! as in DAWN OF THE DEAD!!!!!!!!!

if u go to moviesblog.mtv.com you'll see helluv girls just ecstatic about this film. i'm guessing its all the teens who loved a "vampire" series that revolved around teens. uh... another "covenant" and "blood & chocolate." the trailer is not exciting and looks very cheap (i mean seriously look at the lettering effects) and the acting feels (in a word) mediocre. after "30 days of night" i dont think i want to see a vampire film with attractive 20-somethings playing teens. the only thing i could say the film has going for it is director Catherine Hardwicke who directed "thirteen" and "lords of dogtown." in a year where blockbusters like "the dark knight", "iron man", "incredible hulk", and even "wallE" have exciting and kick ass trailers this "twilight" doesn't necessarily shine. i dont mean to bash the film but this first teaser didnt really excite.

well said moviemaniac i do agree with "indy4" because out of all the huge tentpole films that and "wall-e" are the biggest draws for families and moviegoers.

wow... been awhile since we've heard from ol' vin diesel. very underrated actor. needs to work with a director who knows how to use him to good effect... i mean serioulsy who didn't like him in The Fast & The Furious and Boiler Room... and he was quite good in Find Me Guilty.

MARVEL films will not suck anymore (ghost rider, fantastic, daredevil, punnisher) because MARVEL STUDIOS is now ineffect and owns its films, 100% creative control. i love this trailer and that music cue at the end is from the old television series!!! NERD-gasm! haha can't wait for ABOMINATION!

sounds like a winner. i was hoping russell brand would get signed on to another film asap, especially with Apatow and company. this guy single-handedly stole the show from FSM.
