People seem to forget that for a while in the late 80's Wolverine WAS THE LEADER OF the X-Men. Their roster at the time was Rouge, Havok, Dazzler, Longshot, and Psylocke. While Cyclops was off with "X-Factor" and Storm was trying to get her powers back, Chris Claremont really added new dimensions to the character. Yeah he's got a sh*tty additude and he is a "loner" but he's a great/interesting character...... And a character that is capable of leading. Hell, he led the X-Men against Mr. Sinister, The Marauders, and the Reavers. Check your Marvel History folks (Uncanny X-Men 221 - year 1987 - for example). If I'm not mistaken, Logan is number 3 in charge in the field. Behinde Cyclops and Storm. This cartoon will become a cult favorite.
