I have a busy life so unwinding is essential, my favorite ways to do this is to surf on my laptop while sitting on my bed, watching a movie with a book open. Which ever grabs my attention, has it. I have recently moved to a small town in North Central Alberta, in the middle of nowhere except the Boreal Forest..our theater must be 70 yrs old. It plays one movie per week on its one old screen...it never seems like it gets many of the movies I would like to see, so unfortunately I am usually waiting for a DVD to be released before I can see anything good. I've usually read exhaustively about it before I ever get to see for myself.
I love old B&W's, epics, anykind as long as it is bigger than life. I enjoy horrors the most, not silly slasher films, but a good scary movie, like The Others with Nichole Kidman, anything with a ghost has me. I do not like stupid comedy's, dumb and dumber and those types of movies do nothing for me except move me to turn off the tv. I most like documentary's and watch them most often, my all time fav is 'What the Bleep do we know' the quantum edition. I spend a great deal of my time online watching good video's on quantum theory/mechanics or PSI studies..UFO's etc.. and I belong to a long list of groups that discuss such topics...so if I can find a good movie with those subjects then Im in movie heaven. I really like biography's, make it a biographical movie and that's even better.
