Do we really need Spiderman 4? Spiderman 3 was not all that good. Has Sam Raimi been hanging out with Joel Schumacher? Sandman, Venom, and Green Goblin. Too damn many villains and too little time to develope them. Venom should have been the primary with maybe a cursary touching on the Harry Osbourne story. And that whole "Saturday Night Fever" style walk Peter Parker did while experiencing the darkness coming over him from the symbiotes influence. WTF? Bring in Kraven the Hunter or the Lizard. But please, only ONE VILLAIN.

Have the powers that be completely run out of original material. The original Poltergeist was a fantastic film. Why re-make a film and take a chance on ruining it? So far, most of the remakes to hit theaters have fallen seriously short of the originals. Halloween comes to mind. The original is classic. Rob Zombie's remake did nothing to improve on it. He only added more graphic violence. Sure, he added some tidbits on Michaels Myers' childhood, but that alone did not improve on the film. I see noway to improve on Poltergeist. Lock yourselves into a room and write something new and fresh. Quit rehashing classic movies that still hold up after 20+ years.
