For me personally it was Lawrence of Arabia. It changed the way I viewed cinema. It made me realize that movies could be art, as well as entertainment. It made me want to become a director/cinematographer for quite some time.

posted in the forum: the most overrated movie to receive an Oscar
Honestly, I think Crash was the most overrated winner of an Academy Award. Capote, Brokeback Mountain, Good Night, and Good Luck, and Munich were all in the running that year! And honestly I have to say all were far more deserving of that award than Crash. I thought the movie was decent, but I really think it was greatly overrated.

Yeah I can see that. To be honest the aesthetic of the site is pretty craptastic. Hopefully their are plans to revamp this site.

It's been forever since I've been on this site. Haha, I can't believe my account hasn't been deleted. It seems the site has changed a lot. Anyone still post on here that was apart of the community 5 years ago? I think 2005 was my last post.

Punk isn't just about politics, a lot of it's really personal. Basically it's just self-expression with balls, which is what rap used to be. Nothing wrong with that.
I miss those golden days of rap. I used to actually enjoy it. But that's alright. PS: Fugazi is amazing. |

The Sex Pistols-Friggin' in the Riggin'
This song is freaking hilarious. I shall post the lyrics cause it's just so great. It was on the good ship Venus By Christ, ya shoulda seen us The figurehead was a whor* in bed And the mast, a mammoth penis The captain of this lugger He was a dirty bugger He wasn't fit to shovel sh*t From one place to another Chorus: Friggin' in the riggin' Friggin' in the riggin' Friggin' in the riggin' There was f*ck all else to do The captains name was Morgan By Christ, he was a gorgon Ten times a day he'd stop and play With his f*ckin' organ The first mate's name was Cooper By Christ he was a trooper. He jerked and jerked until he worked Himself into a stupor Chorus The second mate was Andy By Christ, he had a dandy Till they crushed his c*ck on a jagged rock For c*mming in the brandy The cabin boy was Flipper He was a f*ckin' nipper He stuffed his ass with broken glass And circ*mcised the skipper Chorus The Captain's wife was Mabel To f*ck she was not able So the dirty sh*ts, they nailed her t*ts Across the barroom table The Captain had a daughter Who fell in deep sea water And by her squeals we knew the eels Had found 'er sexual quarters Repeat Chorus to Fade |
