For 420... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/9d/Super_Hi gh_Me.JPG/200px-Super_High_Me.JPG After a few minutes I didnt think it would be possible for this film to stay interesting for over an hour, but not only was it interesting, it was very entertaining. Benson takes a few before and after IQ and psychic tests, but the film doesnt focus much on the effects like Super Size Me was interested in. Mainly the film just enjoys following Benson on some interesting days being high spliced in with him on stage doing funny bits. 7/10

Hey guys. I really just lost interest in watching movies for a while, but I knocked out a few recently. http://media.movieweb.com/prod/A/4/1/DV1Ov268Z0gA41_m.jpg Absolutely loved it. Fascinating stuff and I was shocked to not see acting nominations for any of the leads, especially John Turturro. Of course, though, this was 1994, the year that featured Pulp Fiction, Shawshank, Forrest Gump and the movie below. 10/10 http://media.movieweb.com/prod/0/g/h/DVdNdeikV1Z0gh_m.jpg Not great, but I enjoyed it. I haven't seen much of Grant on film and I really liked him here. Kind of got tired of the film near the third act, but it did bring some nice surprises before the end. Weakest of the nominated films, but still solid. 7/10 http://media.movieweb.com/galleries/2974/posters/poster1_ful l.jpg Decent animated film. Good story and of course the cool Dr. Suess style. 6/10

I'm slackin on my movie watching. I started Cinema Paridiso and Treasure of Sierra Madre, but haven't gotten far in them. I did watch some wrestling movies: http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/40/84740.jpg About 10 minutes of wrestlers talking about how cool he was and how much they enjoyed watching him and then about an hour and a half of Warrior bashing. Good stuff, very interesting. Check it out if you're a fan. 8/10 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51IIoMjLz6L._AA240_.jp g Solid doc taking the viewer from Shawn growing up wanting nothing more to be a wrestler all the way up to WM20. Lots of great early footage of him as a Rocker. 8/10 http://www.wweshop.com/newimages/images/w00002pi.jpg The story of possibly the best tag team of all time. Again, the WWE does a solid job with these movies and this is done very well as well. 8/10

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/55/Godfathe rIII2.jpg/200px-GodfatherIII2.jpg An overly long film that isn't very interesting at all. Garcia is good and Pacino is Pacino, but I honestly liked very little in this film. Really only watched it all the way through because its "The Godfather." Otherwise, I would have turned it off. 3/10 How you like that CP? :) And I know, anything less than a 10/10 for Godfather is blasphemous, but I just didn't think it was flawless entertainment.

I enjoyed all the tracks and its definitely a solid album to listen to every now and then when you're in that kind of a mood. Check out: Three Little Birds Jamming So Much Things To Say http://us.ent1.yimg.com/images.launch.yahoo.com/000/053/460/ 53460428.jpg Hello Operator - The Breaks Its only an EP, but I had to share this cause I really dug what I heard. CP, you may have heard of this Toronto band. Check Out: 55 Regrets Chasing Satellites (watch this on youtube) Also from the Hello Operator EP: So Free Crash the Radio Star Hot Step

Someone mentioned this movie some time ago...CONTROL is the depressing and yet brilliant movie which shows the very short life of Joy Division front man Ian Curtis.. If your not familiar with Joy Division, im sure most on here would have heard LOVE WILL TEAR US APART their only real mainstream song.. Its a sad tale of a genius song writer and a superb band.. but the fact that Curtis suffered with severe epilepsy and is love for two women, and a manic depressent to boot, was all too much for him in the end.. Joy Division later became NEW ORDER.. 9/10 Great film, glad you liked it. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e4/JFK_movi e_poster.jpg/200px-JFK_movie_poster.jpg I found it way too convoluted and I couldn't get into it. Another Stone film that I really dislike. 3/10 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/1c/Godfathe r_ver1.jpg/200px-Godfather_ver1.jpg Didn't completely love it, but it is a great film. 9/10 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/0/03/Godfathe r_part_ii.jpg/200px-Godfather_part_ii.jpg I didn't think Michael's story was nearly as interesting as Vito's, but overall its a strong follow up to the original. Definitely not better. 7/10 Godfather 3 up next.

My Dustin Hoffman Marathon: http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/71/6471.jpg Its interesting to see whats going to happen to Dustin and his wife, but part of the film is like Of Mice and Men and I didn't like it 5/10 http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/45/3745.jpg A strong film on parenting/divorce with a star performance from Hoffman. 8/10 http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/49/74449.jpg I dug Voight and Hoffman is effectively disgusting, but I didn't care for how the film ended. I don't know where it could have gone, but it didn't go anywhere profound or special. Not sure how this won Best Picture. 6/10 And I tried to get a hold of Marathon Man, but I wasn't able to.

http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/64/164.jpg A fine film from early in Scorsese's career. That kid was extremely annoying. 7/10 http://media.movieweb.com/galleries/5609/posters/poster1_ful l.jpg Did a good job of keeping my interest throughout and I enjoyed how authentic the film looked and felt. Its always good to see Statham in an enjoyable film. 6/10

So today was a pretty shitty day for me and then I got home and discovered something I thought had been forever lost in my childhood. Something that I thought must have just been a dream I had since I couldn't recall what it was. But now I've found it and I'm a happy boy: CAPTAIN POWER! yMCQkS2oY6E I never watched the show, but I did play the VHS video game with the light gun and had a blast with it as a kid. Anyone else play this or remember it?

http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/13/127513.jpg Very disappointed by the lack of a payoff from watching this film. After the mansion orgy scene, I was excited for where the film seemed to be going. I was kind of expecting or at least hoping for a different kind of film, though, then how it actually played out. Had it turned into more of a thriller mystery I think it could have been very cool, but instead it just kept its slow pace and I didn't get any conclusions that I wanted. That mansion scene was awesome, though. It was terrifying and the music was just perfect. 5/10 http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/73/4573.jpg (weird dvd cover. Daniel Day never looks like that in the film). Good performances from Lewis and the kid who plays Cristy Brown at a young age, but My Left Foot is nothing more than an interesting film. Not phenomenal or anything special, but a somewhat intriguing character study. 5/10

http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/19/14119.jpg Not a bad film and it was somewhat interesting for a while, but once it became a war over her baby I stopped caring. 4/10 Also watched No Country For Old Men again. I feel like I actually appreciate it more now. The ending got a big reaction from the small theater I was in. I guess people just don't realize that there was no other way to end it. The film wasn't about wrapping things up neatly and having a final conclusion for all the characters. I would still say There Will Be Blood is a better film, but I have no problem with No Country winning Best Picture. It's shocking, funny, and will no doubt be remembered. 9/10

LMAO , more then half the people i talk too dont like him and is show , mostly for the reason i listed in my first commentary, what are your reasons that makes you hate him 1. He's not funny. 2. He uses stereotype jokes to make up for his lack of wit. 3. He's not funny. 4. He's made a lot of money off not being funny http://media.movieweb.com/galleries/5421/posters/poster1_ful l.jpg An insightful and horrifying look at America's use of torture. 8/10 http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/74/44674.jpg The kind of show that I would have to watch every week if it was on. That's something I can really only say for one or two shows on TV right now. Thankfully, despite it only lasting 18 episodes, the writers did a good job of wrapping it up. 9/10

\ http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/5179DNOjTuL._AA240_.jp g 8/10 NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My hate for Mencia matches and surpasses everyone else's hate for someone like Dane Cook. The sheer mention of his name makes me sigh. He's the worst thing going on Comedy Central right now. At least don't tell me you like Little Bush. If you do, just keep it to yourself. :) I'm on episode 14 out of 17 for Freaks and Geeks. It's an awesome show. Just like Undeclared its got awesome characters and a beautiful lead girl in Linda Edna Cardellini. Instead of centering on the jocks and the hot girls, the show focuses on three nerds and a group of "freaks"(stoners/rockers). Its a refreshing look at high school. It was produced by Judd Apatow and James Franco and Seth Rogen are in it as well. Get your hands on it if you can. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freaks_and_geeks

I didnt recognize a quote Stork, but glad you enjoyed Wristcutters. Also, Beetlejuice really isn't that great. Its an ok film with a cool performance. http://media.movieweb.com/galleries/4723/posters/poster1_ful l.jpg I had a much larger opinion of this movie as well as the short film that's essentially a spin off (Hotel Chevalier), but my browser crashed and it's gone. Therefore, I'll say this: Liked it more than Tenanbaums and Bottle Rocket, but not as much as my favorite of Wes Anderson's movies: Rushmore. Hotel Chevalier ties in wonderfully, and Anderson's style translates perfectly. 8/10 Better than Tenenbaums? wow. Thats probably the first time I've heard that. Limited was good, but really forgettable. http://media.movieweb.com/galleries/4935/posters/poster1_ful l.jpg Be Kind Rewind isn't on the level of Eternal Sunshine, but I think it does its premise as well as it possibly could have and its an amusing little film. Not one I feel passionate about or would recommend watching from beginning to end, but the middle of the film, where all the spoofs happen, is pretty good. Also, without Jack Black I truly doubt the cheap remakes of films would be funny. 6/10

http://media.movieweb.com/galleries/4561/posters/poster2_ful l.jpg The script sucks and Hayden, who I never really had a problem with before, is a bore to watch. Just no on-screen presence. I've loved all of Liman's work up until this one; Jumper is just a terrible movie. 2/10 http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/02/3002.jpg I love James Stewart in this film and there are some cute touches w/ Harvey and amusing moments with his sister, but this is hardly an excellent film. 6/10

There Will Be Blood - I took my mom to see it on the big screen. She loved The Fountain so I feel confident in taking her to see challenging films. To my surprise, she didn't like it and the woman in front of us even turned around after the movie and proclaimed "that was weird (I agree). Its so hard to see a good movie anymore (now thats crazy talk)." Its an exhausting film. Almost feels like its never going to end, yet I still love it. The part of me that wants to be a respected film critic says its the best film of 2007, while the other part of me says I'm just trying to persuade myself and 300 is still the best. Its impossible to compare the two and 300 is certainly more entertaining, but I'll at least say that this should definitely win best picture. No Country is certainly more accessible, though compared to Atonement it really isn't mainstream at all, but while watching There Will Be Blood I just feel this sense of importance. Like I'm watching a film that will be discussed and admired forever. People call it ambitious. When they say that it makes me think they mean it didn't live up to its capabilities. I call this film "perfection." 10/10 http://media.movieweb.com/dvd_art/hi/34/58534.jpg Great, fun show. Well-developed characters and hilarious moments. There are also lots of cool cameos from Ben Stiller, Kyle Gass, and Will Ferrell. I wish there were more episodes to watch. 8/10 I'm off to finish watching Freaks and Geeks (Im on ep. 4).

http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov200/drj100/j157/j15745o8 oly.jpg Dillinger Escape Plan - Ire Works Really not a big fan at all of this kind of music. Music where the instrument playing is good, but the vocals are nothing but screaming. The Dillinger Escape Plan does a lot of different things on this record, though, like on Milk Lizard which features some jazz in the background. I really enjoyed the creativity on this album and of course the sheer power of some of the metal songs. This usually wouldn't be something I'd like to listen to over and over, but I guess it's because Dillinger Escape Plan didn't go overboard with the screaming and allowed me to hear the music more is the reason why I liked it. Top 3: Milk Lizard Black Bubblegum Fix Your Face http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov200/dri700/i769/i76924xh 6xm.jpg Battles - Mirrored Not a big fan of this record. I really just got tired of listening to mainly instrumentals after a while. Still, there are some tracks that I really like, though they did have to grow on me. Top 3: Atlas Tonto Leyendecker http://image.allmusic.com/00/amg/cov200/drg400/g483/g48350dz 5c6.jpg The Go! Team - Thunder Lightning Strike Love this album. It makes me want to get up, party, dance, and karate kick something. Top 3: Huddle Formation Ladyflash Junior Kickstart
