I agree with everyone else on this story, if done right could be awesome however it will be on Fox and Fox doesn't like to keep a good thing going. Just ask Joss Whedon

The more I hear about this movie, the more it sounds horrible from the director himself right down to the casting of all these actors who truly don't belong in this film. One movie I am not looking forward to and every day reminds me of why superman should only be handled by pros not by slow motion action junkies who can't even make a coherent story line

This is fantastic news!!! Star Trek is the best movie I have seen since Royale in 2006! Every single detail in the movie was beautifully thought out and acted. These writers I gladly welcome back to the fold. In response to their comments above, everything worked in the movie perfectly except *warning potential spoiler* Spock and Uhura cut that out and we'll be in business. Yes The Fountain is worth a watch, but it is the type of film you have to watch more than once to like. Does that make a bit of sense? I did not particularly care for it the first time I watched it, but liked it after the second time. I guess I understood it better.
Sorry to hear you had a funeral to go to. Happy belated birthday by the way. I am really looking forward to Star Trek too, only 37 more days. Did you read on the main page that they are already writing a sequel to be released in 2011? Probably will not be on today because I had a tooth start hurting rather bad yesterday and did not get much sleep last night. I have a dentist appointment this afternoon which I am sure I am not going to feel like doing anything afterwards but hopefully they will fix it. |
