Yeah, Zany, when i flicked the channel and saw Hugh singing, but i just remembered that he does broadway as well. Can't wait for Public Enemy trailer, not to hyped about Holmes....
All I mess with are the real deal Horror and Action movies(No drama or comedy.). As of now i have a total of 189 movies, which many i consider to be classics in my mind. In today's life, i've lost my faith in these new age Horror movies. I prefer 70's through the 90's, but action films have gone through the roof for me. I can easily tell if a movie is going to do bad or not, simply by watching the trailer. that is my gift. I am a killerman, and 200 movies are left on my list to bring my movie collection to some type of close. I am killerman, killer of bad movies, such as remakes. I will not rest until they all have become extinct, and the true horror movie saga is again reestablished. Nough Said. Check out the weird actor double switch in this. The guy looks right into the camera, almost trying to tell you that he's not Dudicoff. It's like a cardboard cutout, but in this case with video.
Yeah, Killer, "Hellraiser: Bloodlines," the fourth in the series, WAS in fact the one in space. They were in space, but you don't really notice too much because of the fact that the whole movie is a flashback of how the Box was created.
No, I missed Family Guy. It is just one of those programs I do not have the time to watch consistently. It's a great show though. I take it you have been busy lately because I haven't seen much of you here.
Yeah, the producers want to move on, but it's that damn CW company who's not acting right. They fucked up the deal with WWE smackdown, hopefully they won't mess this one up. Btw, did you watch Family Guy last night. Hysterical. The best part was when they used the audio from Bale's outburst and matched it with Peter's conversation.
I was the same way after I finished the third season, even more obsessed with the show. Hope they go five seasons as originally planned. I think they will considering the ratings, but stranger things have happened.
Well, now, i'm finished with the third now. I'm all down. Great episodes. I love this show even more, now. I'm sure they'll be in more movies in the future.
I see you are through with the second season of Supernatural. You still like the show just as much don't you? I hope they make a movie too. I liked Jared Padalecki in Friday the 13th, so I hope him and Jensen Ackles go on to make more movies too.
The only other "Hellraiser" sequel that I saw was "Hellraiser: Bloodlines." It wasn't bad. Anyway, the original "Friday the 13th," with the Mom, was my favorite. The ones with Jason in them actually were kind of crappy. I was so keen to see the new one because it looked like they finally put together a movie with Jason killing people, and did it the RIGHT way. Turns out, I was right. I'm writing my review for that now. lolz.
To me remakes are all about the moolah. But i'm glad this Friday the 13th isn't a remake of the first, because i didn't really like the first one with the mother. I liked the ones with Jason on their. That's why i'm so keen about seeing this one. That's if i get to see it. This person i'm going with is starting to hold me up from seeing. I'll be damn if i'm going to see it for the first time on DVd. Lol, that chatter tooth was pretty creepy, but the fat dude with the glasses was the cool cat, i liked him. But have you ever seen the sequels after the part 2. The cenobytes change. The only recurring cenobyte is Pinhead. That's one of the reasons why they sucked. I mean did you see Hell On Earth with the human camera cenobyte, what a joke.
I dunno, man. See, with "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation," that one seemed to be purely a dark comedy. I was laughing so much in that movie, especially with the whole Leatherface dressing up as a woman. lmfao. Great stuff. Zelwegger looks like an Ant Eater, and I can stand McConaghuey in small doses. He wasn't bad in that movie, to me. It seemed like it was SUPPOSED to be stupid.
I see what you mean about them not really being sequels, but rather different stories. I dunno, I just REALLY think that the remake did a REALLY good job of retelling the original, which was equally great.
Pinhead is pretty freaky just because of what he is. If you want the cenobyte that REALLY instilled fear in me, look at the one with the chattering teeth. That dude is FUCKED. UP. lmfao... I can't wait to see the remake. I know you're not too keen on any of these remakes, but I see them as reimaginings. The directors doing them seem to REALLY want to pay homage to the original. "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake's director did GREAT. Rob Zombie, imo, did amazing, and I can't wait to see what happens with "Friday the 13th." Seeing as how the movies that actually HAD Jason in them weren't that great. lmfao... Oh well... Varying tastes and whatnot, right?
Oh, yeah. I forgot you said the first chainsaw movie you saw was the remake. At first i was about to ask you how did it seem to be frightening, but i just remembered it. Yeah, the remake did have some scary scenes in it. But see the first one i saw was part 2. Lol, we both saw it in different tones, which is kind of funny. But Pinhead didn't really scare me. It was that pale looking creepy bitch, from the first one, with that big ass needle through her nose. Man, it wasn't weird, it was pure shit. I mean i hated that movie. Well, kind of because i also hate Matthew and that bitch Zellwegger. But yeah, i have no plans of getting that in my collection. But there is something i noticed. The chainsaw movies never follow behind one another. I wouldn't consider them remakes either. They're more like retellings of actual or phony, which ever it is. i don't know if that really happened or not. Except for part 2 which is why i enjoyed it, because it is the only direct sequel to the 1974 original, and i hope you end up liking this. By the way, i'm a little pissed off that The International wasn't playing at the theater around my way. Now, i'll have to do some traveling, which upsets me.
Well... To me, the Chainsaw series was always supposed to be something immensely frightening. That's why Leatherface scares the shit out of me more than anyone else. Pinhead ties with him, though. lolz.... I'll watch the movie, anyway. I don't doubt that I'll like it.
Did you see the one with Matthew McConaughey? "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation?" That one was pretty fucking weird.
Another thing that made the first three chainsaw films good was the weird families, with Choptop and Grandpa. In the remake, the family was weird but not weird enough for me to be proud of it.
It's actually like a prequel to everything, really. I didn't care for the humor in Leatherface, to be honest, but he's treated more like a big idiot with a Chainsaw in the prequel. I liked the remake because he was just this big creepy facemasked man with a chainsaw, and the whole movie didn't depend on massive amounts of blood.
Isn't this a prequel to the remake. In that case i'll stay away from it. Because i really hated the remake. To me, Leatherface isn't one of those big nasty fiends like Jason and Myers. He is evil. But these chainsaw movies are supposed to make Leatherface look like a retard with the movie have a dark humorous tone, and i didn't see that in the remake. They seemed like they tried to make him just like a Jason or someone. But thanks for info on part 3. I might have to go to amazon, because all the fye's are closing around my way.
See, the remake was the first one I ever saw, and I absolutely loved it. You should check out the prequel, you might actually like it. It's pretty good. Check out Amazon.Com for "Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III." I myself got my copy at F.Y.E.
I have to be in the mood for some serious blood and gore before I watch ANY of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" movies. lolz...
Ah man, i just hated the remake. I've never seen the prequel though and don't have any attention in seeing it. I cant' find III anywhere. but II is great. You'll like that one. I hope, lol.
Ahh. I own all of the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" movies. But I've only watched the amazing original, and the equally amazing remake, as well as the incredibly blood drenched prequel, and then that "Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation" movie. I have yet to watch my copies of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre II" and "Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III." LOLZ!
