Hey Blade. You've been a bit quiet lately. Seen any good films recently? Saw Iron Man. It wasn't that bad really. More adult in tone than I thought it would be.

How's it going Blade? Can't believe the second series of The Dresden Files has been cancelled. Thought it was a great show, with the type of originality and subtle humour that I like.

Hi Blade. That's what I meant by the pretense of a plot. AVP2's "plot" was full of flaws and inconsistences. For instance, in the Alien series, why did the futuristic marines have guns that fired bullets instead of Predator weaponry. The main (only?)selling point of the film was about seeing the Predator and Aliens get it on, and the plot was geared towards that. And with Rambo just around the corner, bloodbath films seem to the trend at the moment. I'll still be going to watch that as well though :-)

Hi Blade. Seen AVP2 yet? I have, and it ain't bad. It has a pretense of a plot,(Predator assassin comes to Earth to contain an Alien outbreak), but this is just a prelude for carnage.Loads of action, high body count, great special effects. Oh, and a huge Predalien with a bad attitude.What more could you ask for?

How's it going Blade? I see our 'best mate' the Fingermuppet has returned. I'm no saint, but it really is an unpleasant little shit. Ah well, not going to comment on him again. Nor am I going to reply to it's pathetic but amusing rant, it gives it's meaningless existence direction.He's a waste of time.

Anyhow, looking forward to AVP2; not much else out at the moment. Should be watching it this weekend. Hellboy 2 looks interesting though. Will speak to you soon on how AVP2 was.

Well I thought Death Proof was one of those movies that starts off really slow but had a great ending. I'd give Planet Terror and Death Proof both 9.9/10 lol. I find it hard to give anything a perfect 10.
