I kind of like the idea of putting Bourne on hold for a while. Would be kind of a silly title, speaking of his legacy if he is the main character. This way, they can set up the next secret agent and have him face off with Bourne in a potential sequel.

Kind of makes me think about Where The Wild Things Are in a way. @brucewayne: Do you really think they made Cars 2 just because they were told to? I think that, being the studio Pixar is, they just get to do whatever they want. That, and John Lasseter is Chief Creative Officer, so he basically is boss over there.
On topic: Can't wait to see this, looks like they're ready to put strong women in the lead nowadays. |

By the way, I LOVE the answer to this question:
"Do you consider yourself a filmmaker first, and an executive second?" Brilliant. |

@dan1 Have you seen Cars 2? Then why are you judging?
I also think Cars was their worst movie. Not saying it's a bad one, just their worst. But I'm not closing myself off for this one. I'm better than you! There. Now you can react overly aggressive or defencive towards my comments. Just to give you a head start, you may want to start with: F*ck you! You're not better than me! I live in the USA, dammit, freedom of speech! Ever heard of that, you ignorant ass?... etc. |

That trailer is epic! Wait, I mean epilectic!
I have yet to see the original films. If it wasn't for David Fincher I would pass on this. That guy knows how to make movies! There is hope! |

Haha, 4D, get it, 4th dimension is time, 3D is the hype... 4D.... Anyone?
Yeah, this looks like... well, you know... I'm kind of hoping for a sex scene with Jessica Alba, but I don't think that's going to happen in this movie. |

People, read the previous comments! Every 10 comments, someone says Riddler, the next one says No Riddler. Bring in the originality.
Also, TDKR could have more villians than just Bane and Catwoman. But only if the movie is longer than 3 hours. If that piece-of-sh*t-movie Titanic can be more than 3 hours, than so can TDKR. And since TDK is 2.5, I hear no-one complaining. |

1. If it's his script, I say someone equally dark and ..eehmm.... different. David Lynch, maybe? David Fincher? Maybe Richard Kelly a la Donnie Darko...
2. Darren Aronofsky needs to have a beard. He looks much rougher with it than with that silly moustache. |

@bane5000 You make a good point, but I do not think that every comicbook movie has to be serious. Sure, it worked for Batman, but that doesn't mean everyone of them has to be dark and grim. Some comicmovies may be better if they're lighthearted.
I admit I don't read comics, so your case is probably more valid. But I do think Spider-Man, for example, would not be worse if there were more jokes in it. Keep the drama, don't make it grim. |

This would't work in Europe. You see, over there they don't work with AM and PM, so 11:11 would be in the morning, 23:11 is 11:11PM. And if something will pass through to this world on 11-11-'11 at 11:11, it would have 12 hours and 49 minutes to run rampant. And is that 11:11 EST? GMT?
Also "from the makers of SAW 2/3/4" doesn't inspire confidence. Fun though that, at time of writing, 11 people like this. I don't. |
