Yeah, Family Guy's comedy thrives off its secondary characters. To be honest, If I have a whole show of Cleveland then every time I watch Family Guy I probably won't find him funny anymore.

It's just like Herbert. The character was hilarious to start out with, but now they overplay him so much that he's become annoying.

I love Cleveland but this idea is what the Spaniards call "El Terrible".

Paramount/Dreamworks and Dreamworks Animation are both ending HD-DVD. The Bee Movie HD-DVD has been canceled. Into The Wild and Things We Lost In The Fire will be the studio's last HD-DVD releases. The rest of their slate including Sweeney Todd and There Will Be Blood has been canceled.

To me, the XBOX suffers from the Sega Dreamcast syndrome. They jumped the gun and tried to grab all the market to their own but being alone is not necessarily a good thing. Granted, Sega had a sh*tton of other problems that Microsoft does not. But honestly if the 360 had an integrated HD-DVD player and came out with the other next gen systems then HD-DVD would be the new format and not Blu-ray.

I guess you're right. An add-on stand alone player will probably happen, but I also heard people talking about integrated players into 360's. Now I know for sure that won't happen.

Sony would never allow it, at least I think they wouldn't. PS3's software is exclusively Blu-ray and that is the advantage the PS3 has over the XBOX.

Now XBOX owners will not be able to watch movies in HD (even though it wasn't full HD to begin with). So, while I do believe XBOX will still see more sales than the PS3 I do think PS3 sales are going to steadily rise this year. Now it makes sense logically and financially to buy a PS3.

The only problems I had were Roger Deakins losing for Jesse James and Dario Marianelli winning for Atonement. Any other nominee could have won for score and I would have been happy, but it was pretty much a lock since he won everything else.

Even though I'm not a fan of the show I don't think it's right to cancel a show without letting the writers wrap it up properly. I'm sure the strike was a nail in the coffin, but still. The show lasted pretty long and I'm sure fans want a decent and resolute end.

The PS3 on paper is the most powerful system. You can argue that the XBOX 360 has more games and a large market stranglehold, but the PS3 packs a more potent punch.

No matter how much I love Frank Caliendo his show does suck. You can't do a one man show and be funny because you have no other actors to play off of, which is how comedy works unless you're Buster Keaton.

His Al & Bobby at the movies sketch was the only one I laughed at.

I agree that it's up to the developers to tap into the potential of a game console, but when your hardware is more powerful then you can do more with your software.

But in your argument you are right. The Wii doesn't have the hardware capabilities to even stand close to what a PS3 or 360 can do yet it's dominating sales since it has the games that the majority of people want to play. I may even get a Wii after their first price drop cause it's great to have at parties (Can't beat Super Smash and Mario Kart), but with it STILL backordered since its launch they don't have to drop the price for some time.

I wonder how long HD-DVD discs will be manufactured by Universal and Paramount? Universal already said they are going Blu, but I wonder how long they'll produce HD-DVD.

Thankfully this war didn't drag on too long. Go Blu!
