I just hope Optimus Prime doesn't stay on his back the whole time like he did in the first one. The whole last fight vs. Megatron, Prime was on his back getting the crap kicked out of him. I was hoping for a better showing from the leader of the Autobots. Just hope that was addressed this time.

To add to 'TheDuck'; that was already included in TDK to some degree. He was torn about what to do because Batman wasn't inspiring things the way he wanted. He had people become vigilantes with him, which got to him, he caused the Joker to come to full fruition, which was hard on him, and he eventually realized to do what he wanted he would have to become the bad guy. It was a battle within throughout the whole movie. So, already done. Can still be done, and will have to be done, to a degree, in the next one if we want an 'emotionally gripping' film. (and by emotional I don't mean a chick flick)

I think if we say there can't be a better story than TDK we are being naive. I think it can be done. If not better, at least equal. Have you seen what Jonathan and Christopher Nolan have done together? Genius. They control the story, since they write the script. If they aren't back, it will have a different feel, though I don't believe they will leave it.
I mean think about it: Let's say the Riddler is the villian. That's all you need. He sends Batman trying to solve complex riddles throughout the film; maybe Riddler solves the great riddle: Who is The Batman? That could be deep, thought provoking, intriguing entertainment that could reach what TDK has set in place.
What needs to be kept in place is the element of realism. Though not 100%, we can buy what Nolan has placed before us. It is not hard to suspend our disbelief. I also like how they didn't use CGI very much.
Anyway, there's my two cents. I have faith in the Nolan brothers. If they are back, this could be huge.

If Crowe was both it could've been cool. No one knows who Robin Hood is. Why, he's the Sheriff of Nottingham! How deceitful they could've made it. He'd be in on all the political stuff as well as know how they'd be coming for him. Just put up a front as Sheriff and be the hero Robin Hood when needed! Good concept.

Awesome. She'd be perfect, be it but a rumor.
