What I find interesting is that these books, while very violent, are perfectly fine for a 13-15 year old to read but not see on screen. I my option books can be much more detailed and graphic in the mind of the person reading it than anything they can do on screen. If a teenager can walk into a bookstore and buy the Hunger Games then they should be able to see the same thing in theaters.
I agree The Dark Knight Rises is a pretty lame title. I'm sure they originally wanted it to be The Dark Knight Returns but decided they didn't want it associated with the comic book of the same name. They should have called it Legend of the Dark Knight or Shadow of the Bat or something like that. There are tons of Batman comics out there they can steal titles from that would be better.

It can't be worse than the one with Edward Furlong. That movie was pure crap.
Hes not bitching. He wasn't paid. I'm a graphic designer... if I completed a project for someone and they didn't pay me I would sue too.
All I want is a villain that hasn't been done on screen yet.

One of my favorite books. The comic is pretty good also. Hope they don't screw this up.
Eh, do we really need to make Voltron look like a Transformer??

I like Whedon, Firefly and Dollhouse are two of my favorite shows, but I'm afraid this movie is going to be crushed by the weight on an overloaded cast.
Good actor but a bit of a spoiler alert. It's a mystery so a key point of the story is to NOT know who the villain is.
Feels like they are wasting talent here.
I really wish Penelope Cruz wasn't in this...

Feels like Cloverfield sans the shaky cam.
I'm usually against Hollywood remakes of good foreign films, but I really like Fincher's work so I am very interested to see his take on the material.
The Hush story line would make a pretty good movie.

TWD should be pretty good.

The only thing that made the first one watchable was Bruce Campbell.
Pick someone else, I don't want MGS turning into another Hitman fiasco.
