I've read the book twice and I really don;t think you NEED to see the movie having read the novel.
I dragged my Dad to the midnight screening promising him a good time and he loved the movie. He was glad he hadn't read the book because he said none of the suprises were given away for him. And he said the opening credits scene was enough to explain what was going on. Seems like if you don't understand the movie without reading the book, then you just don't have a strong mind. Snyder made it pretty easy to like this movie without having read the source material.
I'm not gonna go so far as to tell haters to suck someone's c*ck. But, I will say, give it a couple more tries, maybe on DVD. You might wind up enjoying it some more.

I finished reading the book for my second time 2 days ago.

Oh and btw, that trailer music is perfect for the footage shown.

While I can't even describe my level of anticipation for this film, I have to ask you guys something..
Am i the only one here worried that this might end up as X-Men 3 material(aka crap because too many other characters were involved)?

Definately not as amazing as i thought it would be as a trailer but im certainly not going to say it will be a bad film because the trailer wasn't exciting. I still have faith in this movie, no doubt.

anyone else notice the same exact smoke effect photoshopped into the 1st and last pictures?

he's gotta lose his memory at some point cuz throughout X-Men he hadn't remembered the procedure and when he sees Sabretooth in the first film he seems like he has no idea who he is.

that trailer surprisingly got me very excited for this movie.

I just got this album today and i listened to it on my headphones alone in my room and wow, i can't describe the experience it gave me. I've never felt something so euphoric coming from music.

Anybody else give it a listen?
