This IS NOT a remake. The '67 film was a watered down, heavily romanticized piece of fluff. The true story is far FAR better. Clyde Barrow was no Robin Hood as some have believed him to be. Bonnie Parker's only real crime was falling madly in love with Clyde. For the last year of her life, Bonnie was crippled from a horribly burnt leg suffered following a car crash in Wellington, Texas. She never walked right again and Clyde even had to carry her in and out of places on most occasions. Bonnie had also become an alcoholic, brought on I'm sure by the stress of the life style at first and later as a means to drown the pain from her leg too. In the end, they were never even given a chance to surrender or even to know what was about to hit them. Clyde never even put the car in park much less got out of the car. A much different scenario than what the '67 film portrayed. If Hillary really wants to prove herself, this will be a good role for her. An actor/actress is only as good as the material they are given to work with. So, I'm all for giving Hillary a chance.
