well i loved jack nicholson in the first batman and heaths performance looks awsome but jack and heath play 2 different jokers, jacks more of a funny joker where as heaths is a more dark and seriouse joker, heath sed he wanted to do the oppasite of what jack did so i think there both good but in different ways.
Saw your Joker comment on A-J's page, and will be interesting to see how Ledger does. But better than Nicholson's Joker? Now that would take some doing, as Nicholson was outstanding I thought, and quite rightly got the plaudits for his performance. Certainly helped that it was a good film. Can't understand why some people have bashed Keaton for his role though(seen negative comments on this site). I think the guy's a talented actor, even though Bale's Bat is closer to the original idea. Batman's still a good guy, but he's more of an anti-hero, tortured by his parent's murder, and crusading to try to stop it happening to anyone else. Not sure if I'd really be Mr. Nice Guy either if my parents were shot dead in front of me.
Like the Indiana Jones series in general, but thought the 4th should have been better with the time it took to make and the lineage of the series. But Lucas is saying that he wants Shia LaBouef to take over the Indy mantle for the next film, with Ford more like Sean Connery's Father character. So don't think I'll be watching anymore of the new films. Not got anything against Labouef, but don't like the idea of carrying on for the sake of it. I like sequels, but like with any film, they've got to be able to stand as a good film in their own right, and not lazily relying on the good films of the franchise. Gotta say Lucas did this with Star Wars in my opinion. I think Indy's now got to this stage. Time for something new George, not messing up once great franchises.
Good. Think the X-Files is a love/hate thing, as in you love it or loathe it. Seen Indy Jones 4, and it's ok. Not a patch on the others, but still entertaining, if a bit OTT in places. Don't think another should be made though. The series has gone as far as it can before it does get crap.
Took me a while to figure out how to get a You Tube vid on my profile. Couldn't get it to work, before I realised I was only copying part of the code. Only copied the parameter size at first, but only succeeded in resizing my profile page!
Not much is going on on my end. Just working, hanging out. Finished my first year of junior college 3wks ago, and registered for Fall classes. And I'm hoping to finish up my '65 Falcon restoration project by the end of June or early July, having started in late April'07. Other than that, I'm quickly becoming addicted to this site. So how are things on your end?
Give the show a try, or the first movie at least. If you don't like it, at least you'll know not to go watch the second. Even though they've practically revealed nothing about it, I'll be surprised to see it deviate too far from it roots.
