incredible movie btw, from witnessing iraq firsthand i can tell you that this movie nailed it. i don't think i've ever been moved by a movie like i was by this one.

the "hurt locker" actually refers to a box containing parts of bombs that the soldier defused. he kept them as souveniers to remind himself how close he came to death.
