No it is not a rip-off of the X-Files, it is reminiscent of it but totally different. I recommend it highly, give it a shot, I think you will really like it. But like all series, watch more than one episode.

I agree about the advertising and they did not show the episodes in order for some reason. I recently read an article that they were very surprised how well the DVD sets have sold.

I watch all three CSIs and I thought I would loose interest after William Petersen left, but Lawrence Fishburne is growing on me. I watch a lot of television and movies. I see you liked the X-Files which will always be one of my favorites and I own all the seasons on DVD, have you seen Fringe?

Nathan Fillion was good in Firefly, wish they had continued that show. Glad to see Castle was renewed for another season, he is perfect in that part. Do you just watch the one CSI or all three?

ya, i love Clerks 2 as well. i dont like all parts (donkey show) but for the most part, Kevin Smith has his ways of making me enjoy crude humor lol. i get what you mean with watching Clerks 2 over and over again. im the same way with Zack and Miri. and if a comedy is really good, i can watch it all day. thats whats so great about good comedies-they never get old. you cant watch a good, but depressing drama like The Reader, or Titanic in one day. but you can with comedies! you should see Observe and Report. that movie isnt Kevin Smith, but its amazing lol

Nice to find someone who likes True Blood. I do not think some people gave it a big enough chance, shoot I was even disappointed in the very first episode. What are you thinking about the new season so far?

Not up to too much. I just got back from my cousins' house, where I was at for the weekend. Had a blast, but Michael's death mas really been bumming me out since it happened. It's just so sad.

I am doing okay. It took me awhile to get on because my connection is so messed up, but it seems to be working now.

I watched Twilight myself,it was a lot better than I thought it would be.The next one looks even better.

The second one is a little different,but I really liked it.

Hey CDT. You seen Transformers yet? Not many people on this site seem to like it, but I did. If you go into the movie expecting a dumb story with great special effects, then you won't be disappointed. It's just simple entertainment, with lots of explosions. Even Shia wasn't as irritating as usual. Megan Fox was the eye candy, and was there for no other reason (she's not exactly a Shakespearian actor is she). 4 stars.
