Peter, after Universal and Fox abandoned you, it was said that the Halo project would not go forward unless you fulfilled the promise made to millions of Halo fans throughout the world that you would settle for no less than bringing a first class film to the big screen. So if that is the case, then why dont you go all out for this "MOST" anticipated film and direct it your self? You said that you want a break, but dont you think that this film and all the expectations deserve this effort and work from you? This wouldn't be said if you were not such a good director/filmaker in the first place. It would definitely be most appreciated by so many people and you know it!!! It would be worth it dont you think? Everyone is questioning the film now because of all the rumors of it's postponement, but if you are behind the project even just as a producer, then "I" know - if not everyone else - that the film will not be a disappointment at all, and it will be amazing!!! I dont know why the studios dont trust and believe in you, your abilities and vision. You are one of the greatest, and have never let us down. So if the project does go forward, please just think of directing? Thank you!
