always kinda irks me when most of what people know about batman is based on Tim Burton, instead of Bob Kane

Spider-Man 2 was defnly the best of the trilogy. Still, once the Spidey movies get rebooted by Webb and Garfield (almost sounds like a hippie folk music group) Raimi's spider-movies will be in the same bin as Schumachers batmovies. Yeh, these are superhero movies that did huge numbers at the boxoffice, but that's cuz none of us knew we deserved better... and were going to be given better. (we're looking at you Jon Favreau)

matthew vaughn talks end of superhero movies??? people are gonna get tired of superhero movies???? what is he talking about??? real superhero movies that are actually good enough for comic book fans have only just begun to be made. oh yeh, and these are charecters that have had undying support for freakin' decades and decades.. in comic books. sorry to bust yer bubble matt vaughn, but i think most of us could pretty easily enjoy at least a decade or two more of top notch superhero movies. maybe thats why he did Kick-Ass,, trying to cash in of superheros before they "go out of style"...

Marvel's "being in a hurry" to reboot all their superhero movies IS NOT A BAD THING!!! Let's not forget the 10 years or so of completely botched superhero movies that we all really loved for about 5 minutes when they first came out, then re-watched, and were disappointed by. Spider-Man, Daredevil, Elektra, Punisher, X-Men, Fantastic 4, Ang Lee's Hulk,, sure we all saw them cuz we love the charecters and their classic stories, but there isn't enough time in the day to list what's wrong with them. (Wesley Snipes' Blade movies rock tho!) Now those, for the most part, were churned out. Iron Man 1 & 2, The Incredible Hulk, as well as Batman Begins and The Dark Knight have raised the bar astronomically for superhero movies. So go ahead Marvel,, reboot'em all. and keep 'em coming,, if they're done right the true fans will be there!
