damn do we have alot in common..... music is a big passion of mine..... especially the whole electronic genre, including electro. Felini's 8 1/2 is one of my favorite films as well as Terry Gillium's Fear & Loathing...... and Star Wars, well I'm a SW freak (not a geek though) Got a mad toy collection and so many clone troopers that they should be paying rent at this point. And X-Files obviously one of the best sci-fi/mystery shows of all time. I used to so look forward to that show each week. Good times.

i had to watch BLADERUNNER about 20times - the reason was, i did an exam on the film.
i really have to say: the more you watch it, the better it gets. there are many things you would not notice the first time. and above all the mise-en-scene of the tight streets n stuffed citys is superb. in addition to that, the theme of alienation in open space n technology as well as the dazzling soundtrack suits the film best. That’s just my opinion, even though i don't like much of jean michel jarre’s sounds. In summary i would say its a kind of "alien" in reverse - men is chasing the creature(s), in this case the androids. ...and harrison ford looks gorgeous! ;-) |
