this actually sounds really cool, like everyone else i was pretty against this reboot but the casting/characters are really changing my mind it seems like they could have a great film out of this, as long as they dont mess it up which is definately possible, but we'll see

good, star trek shouldnt be a trilogy, it isn't one specific story, instead, its a series of stories that involve the same crew on the same ship. "these are the voyages of the starship enterprise..." gotta love it

sounds good to me, not personally the biggest fan of 3d unless its absolutely made for it, i didnt really think that this film would be in 3d or needed to be but now that i think about it if he films it in 3d and knows what hes doing (which he does) there should be some some awesome scenes: the spiders, the trolls, smaugs lair, battle of five armies, etc...

well said the fallen, the only problem i really have with him is his age, at least he looks real young, but hes good i liked him in imaginarium of dp i think he'll do a good job

Cyn de Harven, really man come on i dont care how much the word is thrown around, you can not love the movie all you want, im just saying i dont see how one can think its a bad movie because its just simply not, so dont tell me i have a "man crush" for james cameron thats just a stupid thing to say, hes a sell out without a doubt but he makes good movies thats all there is to it

but dont think that i think it deserves to be the highest grosing movie of all time because it really doenst, it deserves top 20

im pumped, i truly dont understand how people dont love this movie its ridiculous they are just a bunch of haters in my mind, i can agree that the story isnt the most original story ever, but its a great story nonetheless, its real and meaningful, i can agre to cameron being somewhat of a sell out, titanic in 3d is completely unnecessary, and a black eyed peas concert is just plain gay, but i dont see how you can deny the fact that avatar is great, he made a movie that appealed to literally every single person in the world, it awed the world with its amazing visuals sure, but also the sadness of seeing a beautiful world and all its inhabitants ravished by humans just trying to make some money, its really quite compelling in the same way that made dances with wolves and king kong so great. idk the only thing i can hear to is that the acting isnt amazing, but theres nothing really wrong with it at the same time, all in all, james cameron has a great movie here and there is potential to make some great sequels, hopefully he doesnt kill it though that would be sad
