I think people should give James Cameron a little more credit in that he has a finger on the pulse that he gets all kinds to go to the movies. When I saw it the theatre was filled with kids, teens, adults,and senior citizens. M Bay gets teen boys with Transformers, Twilight movies get teen girls. Cameron's movies get all demographics. Titanic biggest weekend was 25 mil but that movie kept people coming back and ended up being the top grosser of all time. McG and Bay are pure adrenaline junkies and comparing Cameron to them is an insult. Avatar has the same mix for everyone and will make a ton of money.
