@julian Roman - awesome review! Well said and written. I'm seeing this tonight with a buddy of mine. The harsh reviews that have come pouring in from the whiny critics has been insulting. I do hope it does well at the Box Office and that the sequel will be everything we're hoping for.

Hangover 2 was crude/rude/gross and WAY WAY WAY funnier than the first! Yes, despite the similarities in plot/storyline of the first this one succeeds big time! And no doubt it'll be number 1 by the weekend's end. I highly recommend it!

My guess is Fast Five - since being the only BIG movie opening this weekend could possibly do 80-85 million if it brings in it's fans in herds.

Thor/Green Lantern/Captain America combined will dominate the summer. Thor will definitely bring in the B/O without question. Those rave reviews will help as will word of mouth.

She's come from being an exotic dancer in Sucker Punch to playing a prostitute in Sleeping Beauty ... Emily Browning has come a LONG ways from Lemony Snicket days :P

@Jbwriter - you hit the nail on the head there. A lot of fans will immediately think this is the remake of Sleeping Beauty and of course be in for a shock haha!

@dan1 - Emily Browning is definitely hot and cute and if she's truly "naked" in this - despite a weird and odd trailer could be worth checking out

And this movie DOES look awesome! Finally a movie where Will Ferrell can only do good!

What's everyone's thoughts on Green Lantern? Think it'll be too comical and silly to be taken seriously or do you think they'll deliver a decent comic book movie? My main concern isn't so much the movie as a whole - but the dialogue. If it's going to be "deadpan" and cause gag reflex at every one liner then it's definitely going to fall flat at the B/O. Even worse - off topic - is Thor has that same similar problem - the dialogue/acting. The trailer looks awesome but when they start to speak/act it seems a wee bit over the top. Anyone else have thoughts?

You know it would be somewhat more "original" if the guy swapped bodies with the woman or vice versa (yes/no?) But this whole switching bodies thing is lame otherwise. It's just not that funny. And yet it has two great actors signed on. Why oh why! :P
