I (like many others) consider myself fortunate to be one of the most avid Indy fans. While the fourth installment was a bit unorthodox, I feel as though it reinvigorated the series amongst a much younger audience today - thus ushering Indy into a new generation. He is no longer a man, but an icon which has truly become immortal. At the same time I am pleased that they letting Indy age gracefully with a certain amount of dignity. I must therefore commend Harrison Ford for all he has done both for the character and fans alike. There has never quite been a role like Indiana Jones and I doubt there will ever be again...

To Indy!

In terms of plot-structure its clearly trying to rip off JAWS (since it even references Richard Dreyfuss who played Matt Hopper in the Jaws series). But from what I can discern PIRANHA 3D will be a SUCCESS. The film is not so much about "quality" as it is calling upon theory of spectatorship concerning a "cinema of attractions". This is to say audiences should focus on the spectacle of the event rather than the narrative. Where else could you see man eating fish in a three dimensional experience? Exactly, for that reason yes, admittedly Piranha will be laughable - BUT IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE, thats what makes it fun!!!

I'm really excited for this movie, it will be like the old DRIVE IN MOVIES how awesome is that!

I had high hopes for this movie in regards to Terry Gilliam's work with such films as Time Bandits and Baron Von Munchausen... Parnassus does reach a certain level of expectation, although unfortunately cannot measure up against his great earlier work.

Definitely one of the stronger "vampire" narratives. It was both well thought-out and executed. My only criticism is that I found the "resolution" or ending rather unsatisfying - in other words I wanted more.

Sweet! - Love the shot composition and mood lighting of the "woods" scene - very reminiscent of the 1930's classic.

Umm... wtf was everyone waiting for with this? Seriously, as stated by other users - WAYYY TO HEAVY ON THE CGI... I'm very disappointed in James Cameron.

I'm not that impressed honestly...
I was hoping for it to be a lot more "dark" or "macabre" with Tim Burton.

Then again considering it is a Walt Disney production...
I can see how the studio might have had a heavy hand in the art design.

There's no doubt it still looks awesome.
I was just hoping for more (perhaps its the trailer which bugs me).
