good looking blok, but needs alot of work to be a solid leading man.
If he's smart he'll advance his craft by being a second or third lead with primier directors in major films rather than the MAIN lead in B-LINE action films
this is certainly an improvment...but all this shows is how desperate DANNY GLOVER is for work...

i don't like them REMAKING a film which was pretty good to begin with...BUT with fincher at the helm, this should be pretty decent.
if this was made in the 90s FARUZA BALK or CHRISTINA RICCI would have been perfect for the role of Lisbeth...any suggestions? Please don't say JUNO girl or DAKOTA FANNING!

not sure if this is a good idea, but the series was fun. Hopefully they can do something good with this...

well said CHRIS!
Further evidence that the man is worthy of future great projects.
IN NOLAN WE TRUST!

MIB had a family friendly level humor without being pathetic. Variety of colorful characters. Don't mind seeing another one, especially with Sacha Baron on the team :)

F*CK SAM L!!! He's loud mouthed overacting ass is getting annoying. Unless he's doing something indie like RESURRECTING THE CHAMP or UNBREAKABLE, he needs to shut up for a change. Maybe play a librarian or a MUTE!
Idris Elba! that man was smooth as silk in THE WIRE. That alone showed his talent! Not yet fully utilized in a proper movie role, but the boy's got skill!!!

my superhero casting rules have been simple and hasn't changed since 2000;
NO REPEATERS! and NO TEEN PINUPS!
1. Unknown works BEST. This allows the producer and director to seek a talent that can match and be molded into the character. When dealing with an A-LISTER, there is a tendency for the producer to compromise the story/character/project and bend it towards the ability of the actor, this is weight of starpower. Hugh Jackman is the best example of a 'fitting' unknown. Even russell crowe back in 2000 may have been a better 'bulky' fit but Jackman was more than adequate!
2. Semi-known; if you MUST go with an A-LISTER go with a character actor. Since superhero movies are more character driven than plot driven an indie/method actor knows how to fill in the shoes
Christian Bale is a great example.

"he brings a lot of humor to it, but he also has the humanity that Hal has. And a little bit of the arrogance, so it's a great match."
Hearing those words from JEFF JOHNS means a lot to me. I still hope RYAN turns down the humor. HAL is more arrogance with a touch of humor...NOT the other way around!

who cares what the ECLIPSE will be rated as it's just going to be emo kiddy, poser crap!
as for GREEN HORNET...i'll reserve my judgment for the trailer. but am unimpressed thus far...

this is good. the'look' should be somewhere between TRON:LEGACY and TRANSFORMERS(look only)...i just hope they don't go campy and teen humor on this!

What the hell is with 're-using' superhero actors!!! whats next keep casting Snipes & Common for EVERY black superhero???
first it was ryan reynolds as DEADPOOL and GREEN LANTERN, now Evans as HUMAN TORCH & CAPTAIN???
there's plenty of semi-knowns they could have used instead of him!

shallow story. hopefully they'll add some decent background rather than the synopsis. hopefully freshen it up from the mistakes of the first one
Will check this out either way

branagh has been doing shakespeare since birth. the boy knows the importance of character depth as that is natural to him.
So to hear him talk about mood/tone/texture is interesting; as he seems to be looking into all aspects of this film.
But again...the characters are what will make or break this film. I trust Kennath

the tone of this film is so campy i couldn't stand the trailer. It's trying to be bourgeoise and yet edgy and teen...all in one!!!
insert said it best!
