Krillin and Chiaotzu are dead during the King Piccolo saga but come for the JR saga. I guess the cast of Dragonball would get too big to flesh out all the characters stories so they had to cut some out. Like Korin, Yajirobe and Kami.
It's all about flow and action timing. Which means the better they edit this film the better it will be.

Like I said it is an adaptation.In the cartoon version of Batman and Superman Harvey Two-Face and Lex Luthor are black, but in the recent movies they are played by white actors. In the first Batman Harvey Dent was played by Billy Dee Williams. He was played by Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever. No one made a fuss about that contradiction. It was what the Director of that film wanted and what direction he wanted to go. If James Wong thinks this is the right steps to take in bringig this franchise to the Live Action stage, let us respect his desicion and anticipate this film.

The final product of the movie is always different than the trailer. This is just a teaser and not a final trailer. The trailers also appear out of sequence than the movie too. Besides this is an adaptation of the whole Dragonball series in a two hour movie. You can't fit every moment you liked in it. Look at Lord of the Rings. They cut the whole Tom Bombadil saga out of and people were mad, but in the end it turned out pretty decent.

I have seen every episode of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT.
I have seen every movie and played every game. I love the franchise and Akira Toriyama's Art Style. His contributions to Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest and Blue Dragon. The Anime Blue Dragon is on Cartoon Network now and it rocks.

I hope Dragon Ball The Movie will have Goku riding the Nimbus cloud.

Calm down. I own season 1-4 of Dragonball Z and have watch them completly 10 times. I have analyzed and recorded all their moves and power levels thus far.
And yes the Garlic Jr saga never actually existed. It was just an enlongated sequel
to the Dead Zone movie. According to the Saga Gohan was four when Garlic Jr was put into the Dead Zone and since Garlic Jr said he was finally free from being trapped for ten years that should have at least made Gohan 14 but he is only like 7. It only kinda introduce where Marron came from. Also when Piccolo visited Kami to fuse with him it was the first time Kami had seen him at the lookout since they seperated.

And I didn't say the Dragonball Z movies were not going to made, I'm hoping tey will and be great I was just worried that some people were not going to like Dragonball because they didn't understand thet Gohan and Vegeta were not going to be in it. So Chill.

There won't be a Gohan, no Vegeta no Andoids, Cell, Frieza or Buu.
They may show up IF they do a Dragonball Z movie but until that time
stop comtemplating and start focusing on topics to about Dragon Ball.

No they killed off Mulder which killed the series. Unless they make an Alternate Reality in which he never died. They also killed The Adventures of Briscoe County Jr with Bruce Campbell so I'm extra mad still.

If there is a third Batman Begins will there be mention of Dick Grayson like there was of Barbara Gordon in Batman Begins. Also will Catwoman, Killer Croc or even Ra's Al Ghul return?

Will he be chased by the Zombies he was running from in Shaun of the Dead?

This movie of Dragon Ball is an adaptation of the manga and anime series.
It is a two hour perspective over a hundred episodes of history so don't
worry if every single little tidbit is not in it. The reason so characters appear
and others don't is for the movie to run smoother and have a better pace so it
doesn't get too complicated or bogged down with details. George Lucas wrote
Star Wars with everybody interacting in their world knowing most details, It didn't explain everything. So those of you who wanted Krillin or Tien in there don't worry
if there not in the movie. It is for the pace of the movie. Great Editing is what made Star Wars such a good movie and the music helped. So if they edit this movie and find a good balance between the fighting, story and humor that is only Dragonball this movie should be great!
