Newkill, it's really hard to lie when it comes to matters of opinion. Why are you so passionate about bashing a movie you don't care about?

It's not that I think the movie is doomed to suck, it very well might be good. I just think that a remake is entirely unnecessary. Let the Right One In is a year old and it is totally accessible to Americans. I don't see any creative reason for a remake.

Why is this even news. Of course he won't be coming back, his character is dead. It would be so dumb if they time traveled him back to life, it would be more trouble than its worth on top of being super lame.

Though I think this movie is going suck, I can agree with incmob on one thing: atleast this movie is a completely original piece of work. I'll probably see it just because there will probably be some very amazing imagery; the only reason I will go see Transformers 2 as well.

I'm pretty liberal and I share alot of Michael Moore's views, but he is a fatass douche nugget. He flat out lies in his movies to prove his point. Oh well, I don't think anyone takes him seriously anymore.

Ah, yeah there is a whole lot of speculation going around (I'm definitely guilty of it) about the circ*mstances of his dead. I didn't think they were going to be able to release the autopsy results until tomorrow. Where did you hear that he was stabbed?

I just heard this guy on the radio like 3 weeks ago and he sounded really happy. I know this might sound really bad, but it might have been a sex related accident, apparently some people temporarily hang themselves while receiving oral pleasure and it heightens the experience, could have been that and something went wrong. I don't know, it is some crazy speculation but it seems really weird that he would have committed suicide.

Also, why do we need an MLK biopic? Everyone already knows that he was a great man and everything that he did. I mean seriously, is anyone going to see this movie and be anymore enlightened than they already are?

I think they should get someone like Tyler Perry or maybe even Chi McBride to play MLK, Will Smith and Jamie Foxx have a monopoly on every historic black role. And for once I agree with you Newkill, Native Americans are constantly looked over, the only movie I can think of that does Native Americans any justice is Dead Man, and even in that the main character is white. I went to the Grand Canyon through the Native American reservation last year and everyone was bitching about how expensive everything was. Well, that is the only thing those people have. The US Government gave them a big ole pile of nothing out in the desert and thats how they make their living, sh*ts really f*cked up.

I can't remember if I read it here or somewhere else, but apparently this journalist got to see some footage for Avatar and he was like "I know that this thing can't be real, because there are no such thing as 9 foot tall blue aliens, but it looks so real that I can't tell otherwise". Can't wait to see if it really looks that good.

Could be alright. I think the big problem with Lucas is that he has insane expectations to meet (not that the new Star Wars movies were all that good). Maybe he will be able to turn out something good without any real expectation.

I don't know about this. The first one was alright, but it's definitely a stand-alone movie. Frank Miller has a bit of a reputation for milking something for everything it's worth (apparently he tried to sue someone over the "look" of Sin City). This definitely seems to be the case here.
