@skywise. Thanks. I don't hate Legend I did find some enjoyment in the film. I liked Tom Cruise and the great Tim Curry, but it was disappointing and certainly one of Scott's worst film. I gave Legend 2.5 stars.

@thedude-abides: Thanks, and I'm glad you liked my list. I did enjoy American Gangster, but the film just didn't reach the level of these other films with the performances and story.

@SherlockHolmes2009: Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed my review and you're probably right. I'm sure if there is a reboot years down the road a studio will most likely find a way to screw it up.

It's sad I enjoyed the old cartoon and loved the comics and had hope to see my characters I had loved come to life, and just like some are really disappointed with the Transformer films that is what it is like with me and these G.I. Joe films.

@thedude1: Thanks I'm glad you liked my review and if you found some redeeming qualities in the film that's great.

As for cheesy action films. I liked them. I enjoyed the first film and the likes of the first Expendable film and Olympus Has Fallen. It's just that films like this should at least have fun and enjoyable characters along with at least a below average to decent story and decent to good action, which I think Retaliation fails at in almost every level.

@skywise: Yeah I think you should re-watch the film. As I said it's not perfect, but it is a good film.

Since I stupidly forgot to add Gladiator I've updated my list for a final time. I've added Gladiator to number 2 and knocked out Matchstick Men from this list.

@thedude-abides: Did I not add Gladiator. I meant to, but forgot about it or I didn't hit the add button to put it on my list. It should be number 2 on my list like yours. I'll update it now. Thanks for telling me its not there I might have not noticed that major oversight.
