Wow. I don't particularly like any of those choices. Too bad WB doesnt take a cue from the recent fan made trailer and give the part to Nathan Fillion.

I guess of those three Bradley Cooper would be the best choice. Ryan Renolds is good, but he's such a comedic actor, and Hal is such a serious character, I don't see it as a great match.

Timberlake would be a disaster. Even if he were the best actor of the three, which he is not, it would make the movie look like a joke and upset the fan base.

Wow... What is with Hollywood's stinking youth fixation? Hal Jordan should be in his late 30s/early 40s. Not some kid who looks like his dad hasn't had to teach him to shave yet. And for the record I'm not some grouchy old guy, I'm 27. And back when I was growing up watching movies we had action stars like Arnold, Sly, Bruce Willis, etc... all MEN we could look up to and believe as an action star. Not little kids. Way to piss of the fan base before you even start rolling WB.

My only problem with Routh as Superman is that he was a little too young. And now they want to replace him with someone even younger !?!? What the hell is with Hollywood's youth obsession? I'm still pretty young myself (26), and I don't understand it at all. For one thing, young actors typically aren't as god as older actors because of less experience. Also, for someone to look really powerful and like a leader, the way superman should carry himself, it helps if he is older. Not that he should even be 'older', I'm talking like early-mid 30s. But nooooo, they want a bunch of high schoolers to play the Justice League. They should just rename it "Teen Titans." Look at 300, Casino Royale, Sin City, or any of the other good action movies from the past couple of years. All stared actual MEN as opposed to KIDS. Someone like Clive Owen would be an awesome Superman. He could have the presence that Superman calls for. You're not going to find a 20 year old kid who has the kind of commanding presence required by the character.

Why is it that I care more about doing the character justice than the people at DC and Warner Brothers ??

I really hope they make this a non-JLA Universe movie (Like the current Batman and Superman movies) and use HAL JORDON - Earth's true Green Lantern!

Hal Jordon should be in the JLA movie too. He's too good of a character to just ignore on screen. Jon Stewart is an awful character by comparison.
