Wow. You guys sure showed me... Intelligent, articulate, thought-provoking. Phat, if you're happy with your DVDs, stop bitching and keep illegally ripping your flicks. I WILL spend the extra 5 bucks for high definition, and you can count on me to be one of the consumer suckers that buy a product and bring the prices down. All those suckers who bought DVDs back in the late 90s-early 2000. What a bunch of @$$holes, right? I was just making a point... No need to get the panties, ladies.

(Sigh) Here we go again. I agree about the economic difficulties going on right now... But the price arguement is so tired. Did everyone bump their heads and forget that $25-$30 bucks is what DVDs inititally cost when the format was introduced to the market? Blu-Ray discs are expensive to produce and are a much higher quality film and product, so naturally it costs more. As manufacturing costs come down and demand goes up, price will come down. So either pay the premium and get the disc, or be patient and shut the ef up. (Sigh) Are people REALLY still making this complaint?!

Ummm... how about get a better reporter to do the interviews? That kinda sucked.
