Went to the Monday showing and loved it. I honestly didn't think it was going to be as entertaining as it was.
As far as the Harry Potter comments go you've got to be kidding me right? First off it's a tired repetitive piece of dribble; wizards get in trouble by unknown force, group together and fight it off, and happy ending. Transformers had action along with a fairly relevant story plot and it an all around good flick. Also, I don't see how it's more "imaginative" then Transformers. 100 ft. giant robots from space seem to fall under the mythical definition if I'm not mistaken. If you think Transformers is "geekier" then HP.. Wow, just wow. Way to bet on the right pony there...
