I thought the film was good, but I do think they could have done things to make it better like not killing of Paxton straight away in the first 5 mins, he could of had a bigger and better part in the film.

The ending was dissapointing, there could have been more to it and it wasn't really a shock.

It was good the way you saw the killers story line, seeing how they bidded for their kill and how they went through the process, how they were getting second thoughts at times and if they changed their mind they would end up in the hostel themselves being tortured and killed.

It was good how Axelle was a charming, friendly lovely girl and really she was pure evil luring the girls into this horrible place, you just wouldn't know what she was really up to.

I just wander if they'll try and do a Hostel part III with Beth carrying on, who know its might be about Sacha trying to find her for killing his daughter!

I watched it. I thought it was a good film! I thought it was good that this time the way they showed you the killers side of the story and how they run the business, etc.

What got me was the way that Axelle was a lovely friendly girl and how any one on holiday could fall for her being kind etc, you just wouldn't know what she was really up to. and how the killers interacted with the people they were going to kill.

I did cheat and found out what happened before I watched it so because i knew what to expect, i get as scared...but there were a few unexpected bits that me scared e.g. the cannibal bit and at the very beginning that was on for 2 minutes each!

But I am a weakling with horror movies, so if I found it ok I can understand why the real horror fans out there were dissappointed. But yeah I thought it was a good film! :)

I think that it will be an realy f**king horror movie ... I whant to see it ... but I don`t konow if I whant to see it alone :D

Yeah im the same Mich3ll3. I want to see it, but don't want to see it alone. I also want to make sure the lights are on and I have a big cushion to hold onto! (what a wimp I am lol) :biggrin:

Shut the f*ck up goochi babe. All I've seen you do is a bash a movie you haven't seen. You really just need to keep your worthless opinions to yourself until you've seen the film. I don't mean to be an ass but the way you keep posting negative opinions without seeing the flick is just sickening.

Eric, get your facts right! I wasnt putting the film down, I was purely saying what other people have said in reviews which seem negative not judging it myself! How can I judge something I haven't seen! And I also said I will find out when I see the movie myself if its bad or not.

What negative about me saying the film is going to be bad and scary, they're not negative, if anything that whats people are into their horror films want!

Apparantley this film is more sick than scarey from the reviews i've read! People have said there is too much gore going on, that it isn't scarey but when i find the guts to watch it i shall find out.

this hostel is going to be horrible what they do to people, especially if the other poster showing all the insides parts is anything to do with it! eeek! I dread to think! I reckon the one with the girl hanging upside down is going to be brutal!

Yeah I don't think i'll be watching this in the cinema, I may watch it on DVD behind a cushion with my ears covered! The trailers and the first scene on this website made my stomach churn already thinking as to what could happen next and it is going to be really sick.

Crikey the Ring really scared me and played on my mind! I couldn't turn the light off for weeks! Haha! As for the exorcist, a lot of people I know laugh at that but it scares me big time, its horrible!

The gory bits of a film don't bother me too much, I can watch surgery, or some one who is injured etc but I hate seeing some one sitting there screaming, crying and trapped screaming while someone is brutally torturing them and theres nothing they can do to get away or anything.

Even if you don't see the blood, its still the look on their face and imagining what they're going through! Even that film with Russell Crow in when he's captain of a ship in the olden days, that little boy when he has his arm cut off, you don't see anything but it made my stomach churn.

Yeah shes stunning, I think shes better than Holly anyway even though shes quite pretty too.

Yeah I see what you mean about it focusing on the women, but I think what they will do to the women will be alot worse than the men in the first one. The first clip involves a woman being tied up hanging upside down and naked, but on the MTV website I saw that picture of her covered in loads of blood! Going from the front covers of the film, there going to be alot of torture and it could involve skin ripping or something simlar! (I dread to think!)

I'm like you Captain, I watch horror films to scare me and to get the story line, not to laugh at especially as they look ao realistic!

Eli Roth is already takling of a hostel 3 and its reprted he already starting it! How much torture and gore can that man get! He has said the second hostel is going to be a lot more disturbing than the first, so how bad is he going to make the 3rd!

I can understand what your saying about Drew Barrymore, but im a typical gal who's into her chick flicks and that is what she does best like wedding singer, 50 first dates, ever after, never been kissed etc.
I prefer Steven Seagal in his younger days and his older films too, so I agree with you there, not many good films with him in that have recently come out. What can I say, again im a typical chick who likes Orlando...its the accent! I love it! haha! But I do like him in Pirates of the carribean, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven etc.

Tom Cruise, Orlando Bloom and Brad Pitt always look really smart. As for the ladies, Catherine Zeta Jones always looks stunning, Penelope Cruz, Halle Berry.

I think Drew Barrymore is a brilliant actress. She has been in so many different films from a young age and is brilliant! Shes fantastic!
AS for Male actors I like Steven Segal, Tommy Lee Jones, Bruce Willis, Nicholas Cage, John travolta, Jonny Depp, Orlando Bloom .....there are so many of them I can't pick one!

I don't like watching the gory and torturing bits, but at the same time im curious as to what happens and what they do to people (even though I will regret ever finding this out as it won't be nice!). I want to see the film to find out what happens next after the last film because it starts straight where it left off and the story line is interesting. Also part of it is a true story, as poor people in a certain country used to volunteer to get themselves murdered so their family would get insurance from their death.

I've just seen the first clip of it that they put on! Oh my word a teaser or what! It started to make me feel sick, my stomach started churning! You don't see anything gory, but what you see is leading to it so it leaves you thinking what they going to do! This one is going to be well bad!

ITs going to be awful what they do to people! There is no way I could see this film in theatre. I've just seen the first clip and already it made me feel sick thinking what was going to happen next! I'll do the same as you, wait until you can see it on DVD.
